Abstract
Ethnomathematics is an activity carried out by cultural groups without realizing that there are basic mathematical concepts in their application. Ethnomathematics as a study of mathematics with cultural nuances will contribute to the field of education. This study aims to describe the mathematical concept the mathematical concepts in the organological aspects and the wasp pattern of the musical instrument Pantun Bambu Cilegon City and the basic mathematical activities according to Bishop. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with ethnographic method. This research was conducted at Sanggar Singpring, Temugiring area, Banjarnegara village, Ciwandan district, Cilegon City, Banten. The subjects in this study were Mr. Afandi, Mr. Iing, and Mr. Imadudin. Data were collected by conducting interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that there are mathematical concepts in the organological aspects and wasp pattern of Pantun Bambu, namely plane geometry, solid geometry, arithmetic sequences and addition and subtraction operations. The results of this study are expected to help in the field of education, especially mathematics in understanding mathematical concepts because it is associated with the cultural life around it.

| Additional Information: | Etnomatematika merupakan aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh kelompok budaya yang tanpa disadari terdapat konsep dasar matematika dalam penerapannya. Etnomatematika sebagai kajian matematika bernuansa budaya akan memberikan kontribusi dalam bidang Pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep matematis pada aspek organologi dan aspek pola tabuhan pada alat musik Pantun Bambu Kota Cilegon serta aktivitas dasar matematis menurut Bishop. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode etnografi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sanggar Singpring, Lingkungan Temugiring, Kelurahan Banjarnegara, Kecamatan Ciwandan, Kota Cilegon, Banten. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah bapak Afandi, bapak Iing, dan bapak Imadudin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat konsep matematis pada aspek organologi dan aspek pola tabuhan Pantun Bambu yaitu geometri dimensi dua, geometri dimensi tiga, barisan aritmatika serta operasi penjumlahan dan penguranngan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu dalam bidang Pendidikan khususnya matematika dalam memahami konsep matematika karena dikaitkan dengan kehidupan budaya di sekitarnya. | |||||||||
