Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of macro development indicators consisting of economic growth, poverty rate, human development index, and foreign investment on income inequality partially or simultaneously in 15 provinces of Indonesia in 2015-2020. The data used is panel data, panel data is a combination of time series and cross section data. The method used is panel data regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the human development index and foreign investment have a significant effect on income inequality in 15 provinces of Indonesia in 2015-2020. The human development index has a negative effect, where in 15 provinces of Indonesia when the human development index increases, income inequality will decrease. Meanwhile, foreign investment has a positive influence, where in 15 provinces of Indonesia when foreign investment increases, income inequality will also increase. Meanwhile, the variables of economic growth and poverty level have no effect on income inequality in 15 provinces of Indonesia in 2015-2020.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat pengaruh indikator makro pembangunan yang terdiri dari pertumbuhan ekonomi, tingkat kemiskinan, indeks pembangunan manusia, dan penanaman modal asing terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan secara parsial maupun simultan di 15 Provinsi Indonesia pada tahun 2015-2020 . Data yang digunakan adalah data panel, data panel merupakan gabungan dari data time series dan cross section. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi data panel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa indeks pembangunan manusia dan penanaman modal asing berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan di 15 Provinsi Indonesia pada tahun 2015-2020. Indeks pembangunan manusia memiliki pengaruh negatif, dimana di 15 Provinsi Indonesia ketika indeks pembangunan manusia meningkat maka ketimpangan pendapatan akan menurun. Sedangkan penanaman modal asing memiliki pengaruh positif, dimana di 15 Provinsi Indonesia ketika penanaman modal asing meningkat maka ketimpangan pendapatan akan meningkat juga. Sedangkan variabel pertumbuhan ekonomi dan tingkat kemiskinan tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan di 15 Provinsi Indonesia pada tahun 2015-2020. | |||||||||
