Abstract
This experimental research aims to determine the effect of NPK fertilizer doses on the growth of citronella plants (Cymbopogon nardus L.). This study used a randomized block design (RBD) with one factor (single factor). This research conducted 6 levels of treatment with 4 replications and 24 experimental units with 16 plants in each unit, resulting in 384 citronella plants. Each experimental unit had 4 sample plants taken randomly, which resulted in a total sample of 96 citronella plants. Parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of tillers (stems), number of leaves (strands), shoot fresh weight (g), shoot dry weight (g), root fresh weight (g), root dry weight (g), and root crown ratio (%). This study found no significant effect on all parameters because, after fertilization, rain caused the nutrients in the NPK fertilizer to be carried away by the flow of rainwater.

Additional Information: | Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman serai wangi (Cymbopogon nardus L.). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan satu faktor (faktor tunggal). Penelitian ini dilakukan 6 taraf perlakuan dengan 4 ulangan dan 24 unit percobaan dengan 16 tanaman pada setiap unitnya, menghasilkan 384 tanaman serai wangi. Setiap satuan percobaan terdapat 4 tanaman sampel yang diambil secara acak, sehingga total sampel tanaman serai wangi sebanyak 96 tanaman. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah anakan (batang), jumlah daun (helai), berat segar tajuk (g), berat kering tajuk (g), berat segar akar (g), berat kering akar (g) , dan rasio mahkota akar (%). Penelitian ini tidak menemukan pengaruh yang nyata pada semua parameter karena setelah pemupukan, hujan menyebabkan unsur hara pada pupuk NPK terbawa aliran air hujan. | |||||||||
