Abstract
ABSTRACT Syafrudin, 2023, “The Effect of Managerial Competence, Principal Entrepreneurial Leadership, and Interpersonal Intelligence on the Productivity of Elementary Schools in Serang City”. Thesis. Educational Doctor Program, Educational Doktor Study Program, Postgraduate Program of Sultan Ageng Tirytayasa University As a determinant in the continuity of a student's education process at the middle and high levels, the implementation of education at the elementary school must be considered, including school productivity as a performance measure. School productivity can be influenced by several factors. This study aimed to determine the effect of managerial competence, entrepreneurial leadership, and interpersonal intelligence of school principals on the productivity of elementary schools in Serang City, Banten Province. This study was an ex post facto research. It involved 170 schools principals of elementary schools as the samples. They were selected using disproportionate cluster random sampling. The data collection used questionnaires with a Likert scale. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and path analysis. The results showed that: (1) managerial competence had a direct effect on school productivity, (2) entrepreneurial leadership had a direct effect on school productivity, (3) interpersonal intelligence didn't have a direct effect on school productivity, (4) managerial competence didn't have a direct effect on the interpersonal intelligence, (5) entrepreneurial leadership had a direct effect on the interpersonal intelligence, (6) managerial competence had a direct effect on the entrepreneurial leadership, (7) managerial competence had an indirect effect on school productivity through the entrepreneurial leadership, (8) managerial competence didn’t have an indirect effect on school productivity through the interpersonal intelligence, and (9) entrepreneurial leadership didn’t have an indirect effect on school productivity through the interpersonal intelligence of elementary school's principals in Serang City, Banten Province. | Additional Information: | Sebagai penentu dalam keberlanjutan proses pendidikan seorang anak pada jenjang menengah dan jenjang tinggi, penyelenggaraan pendidikan pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar (SD) mutlak harus diperhatikan termasuk produktivitas sekolah sebagai ukuran kinerja. Produktivitas sekolah sendiri pada dasarnya dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi manajerial, kepemimpinan kewirausahaan, dan kecerdasan interpersonal kepala sekolah terhadap produktivitas Sekolah Dasar (SD) di Kota Serang, Provinsi Banten. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei jenis expost facto yang melibatkan 170 orang kepala SD negeri dan swasta sebagai sampel penelitian. Sampel penelitian dipilih dengan menggunakan disproportionate cluster random sampling. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket dengan skala Likert. Adapun pengujian data penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistika deskriptif dan analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh langsung kompetensi manajerial terhadap produktivitas sekolah, (2) terdapat pengaruh langsung kepemimpinan kewirausahaan kepala sekolah terhadap produktivitas sekolah, (3) tidak terdapat pengaruh langsung kecerdasan interpersonal kepala sekolah terhadap produktivitas sekolah, (4) tidak terdapat pengaruh langsung kompetensi manajerial terhadap kecerdasan interpersonal kepala sekolah, (5) terdapat pengaruh langsung kepemimpinan kewirausahaan terhadap kecerdasan interpersonal kepala sekolah, (6) terdapat pengaruh langsung kompetensi manajerial terhadap kepemimpinan kewirausahaan kepala sekolah, (7) terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung kompetensi manajerial melalui kepemimpinan kewirausahaan terhadap produktivitas sekolah, (8) tidak terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung kompetensi manajerial melalui kecerdasan interpersonal terhadap produktivitas sekolah, dan (9) tidak terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung kepemimpinan kewirausahaan kepala sekolah melalui kecerdasan interpersonal terhadap produktivitas sekolah pada lingkup Sekolah Dasar (SD) di Kota Serang, Provinsi Banten. | |||||||||
