Abstract

The Golkar party, which survived the democratic wave after becoming the liaison organization for the authoritarian New Order regime, made the Golkar party a political party that was adaptive to the political situation. The background of the democracy of the Golkar party is the existence of good institutionalization. However, this is not a guarantee for the Golkar Party at the local level to be in harmony with the adaptive and democratic condition of Golkar at the national level. With these objective conditions, the author is interested in studying the institutionalization of the DPD I Golkar Banten Party during the leadership of Ratu Tatu Chasanah, which focuses on the dimensions of Value Infusion and Reification. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The data in this paper were obtained through interviews, observations and documentation. With the main analytical knife is the theory of institutionalization of political parties, Randal and Svasand (2002). The results of this study are that the Golkar Banten party is strongly institutionalized in the Reification section, this is driven by the long history of the party, and the symbols of Banten local figures. in the Infusion section, the institutional value of the party is not very strong, this is reinforced by pseudo ideological values, and the only strong value that can be offered by the Golkar party is electoral market access and the legacy of elitism.

Additional Information:	Partai Golkar yang bertahan dalam gelombang demokratisasi pasca menjadi organisasi penyokong rezim Orde Baru yang otoriter membuat partai Golkar menjadi partai politik yang adaptif dengan situasi politik. demokratisasi partai Golkar dilatarbelakangi dari adanya institusionalisasi yang baik. namun hal ini bukan jaminan bagi Partai Golkar di level lokal dapat selaras dengan kondisi Golkar di tingkat nasional yang adptif dan demokratis. Dengan kondisi objektif tersebut, penulis tertarik untuk meneliti institusionalisasi DPD I Partai Golkar Banten di masa kepemimpinan Ratu Tatu Chasanah, yang berfokus pada dimensi Infusi Nilai dan Reifikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data yang dalam tulisan ini diperoleh melalui Wawancara, Observasi, dan Dokumentasi. Dengan pisau analisis utama adalah teori pelembagaan partai politik, Randal dan Svasand (2002). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah partai Golkar Banten terlembaga kuat pada bagian Reifikasi, hal ini didorong oleh sejarah partai yang panjang, dan simbol tokoh lokal Banten. pada bagian Infus Nilai pelembagaan partai tidak terlalu kuat hal ini didasari oleh nilai ideologis yang semu dan satu-satunya nilai kuat yang dapat ditawarkan oleh partai Golkar adalah akses pasar electoral dan warisan nilai elitisme.
