Abstract

The agricultural sector is in the form of food commodities, plantations and horticulture. Horticultural crops are included in the tropical plants commonly developed by the Indonesian state. The role of the agricultural sector is increasingly formed by establishing an agricultural revitalization system as a national development and economic development in the development strategy. The tourism sector has potential as an economic development in Indonesia. Golden Melon Fruit Agrotourism (Cucumis melo var. Alisha), is an agricultural land that utilizes elements of opportunity in agriculture, tourism and education. This agrotourism has a land area of ± 3,000 hectares. This study has several objectives, namely first to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Furthermore, identifying any formulations in alternative strategies can then be applied by agro-tourism managers. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach using direct and indirect methods. The location selection was done purposively. For data obtained through field observations based on in-depth interviews, questionnaires and literature study. Then the data analysis carried out by the researcher consisted of several matrices, namely the ife matrix, the efe matrix, the ie matrix, SWOT analysis and QSPM analysis. The IFE matrix produces a total weighted score of 3,213 and the EFE matrix produces a total weighted score of 2,932. The factor-weighted total score in the IE matrix is in cell IV position, namely Grow and Build. The SWOT matrix produces eight alternative strategies that can be implemented by Golden Melon Fruit Agrotourism. The QSPM matrix produces several alternative strategies, the first strategy is to open opportunities for collaboration with local communities, government agencies, and kindergartens, elementary schools and street vendors with a STAS score of 5,301. the second strategy is to create rides and photo spots that are useful for attracting tourist visitors with a STAS score of 5,282. the third strategy is to maximize the marketing system in the technology sector to be effective with a STAS score of 5,114. Sektor pariwisata memiliki potensi sebagai pengembangan ekonomi di Indonesia. Agrowisata Buah Melon Emas (Cucumis melo var. Alisha), merupakan lahan pertanian yang memanfaatkan unsur peluang di bidang pertanian, pariwisata dan pendidikan. Agrowisata ini memiliki luas lahan ± 3.000 hektar. Penelitian ini memiliki beberapa tujuan yaitu pertama untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman. Selanjutnya mengidentifikasi formulasi apa saja dalam alternatif strategi yang kemudian dapat diterapkan oleh pengelola agrowisata. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode langsung dan tidak langsung. Pemilihan lokasi dilakukan secara purposive. Untuk data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan berdasarkan wawancara mendalam, kuesioner dan studi pustaka. Kemudian analisis data yang dilakukan oleh peneliti terdiri dari beberapa matriks yaitu matriks ife, matriks efe, matriks ie, analisis SWOT dan analisis QSPM. Matriks IFE menghasilkan skor terbobot total sebesar 3,213 dan matriks EFE menghasilkan skor terbobot total sebesar 2,932. Skor total terbobot faktor pada matriks IE berada pada posisi sel IV yaitu Tumbuh dan Bangun. Matriks SWOT menghasilkan delapan alternatif strategi yang dapat diterapkan oleh Agrowisata Buah Melon Emas. Matriks QSPM menghasilkan beberapa alternatif strategi, strategi pertama membuka peluang kerjasama dengan masyarakat setempat, instansi pemerintah, dan TK, SD, dan PKL dengan skor STAS 5.301. strategi kedua adalah membuat wahana dan spot foto yang berguna untuk menarik pengunjung wisata dengan skor STAS 5.282. strategi ketiga adalah memaksimalkan sistem pemasaran di bidang teknologi agar efektif dengan skor STAS 5.114.
