Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulties of learning mathematics in online learning experienced by students. This research was conducted at Cikeusal 1 Public High School and aimed to find out the factors of learning difficulties in mathematics in online learning. The research method used is quantitative method. The population in this study were students of class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Cikeusal, totaling 290 students. The samples taken in this study were 43 students. The technique used to determine the sample in this study was using a random sampling technique and the research instruments used were questionnaires and interviews. Analysis of the data used is factor analysis. The results of this analysis obtained 3 factors which are factors of students' learning difficulties in mathematics in online learning, namely 1) factors of student motivation and interest consisting of motivation, interest, teacher presentation method, student participation and support from the surrounding environment. 2) The task performance factor which consists of understanding the material in online learning, the difficulty level of the task and the difficulty of doing the task. 3) The factor of difficulty accessing the internet which consists of an internet network. Of the three factors formed, students' motivation and interest factors were the most dominant factors with a percentage of variance of 38.781%.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kesulitan Belajar matematika pada pembelajaran daring yang di alami siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Cikeusal dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor kesulitan belajar matematika pada pembelajaran daring. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Cikeusal yang berjumlah 290 siswa. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 43 orang siswa. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menentukan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan teknik random sampling serta instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa angket dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis faktor. Hasil dari analisis ini diperoleh 3 faktor yang merupakan faktor-faktor kesulitan belajar matematika siswa pada pembelajaran daring, yaitu 1) faktor motivasi dan minat siswa yang terdiri dari motivasi, minat, cara penyajian guru, partisipasi siswa dan dukungan dari lingkungan sekitar. 2) Faktor pengerjaan tugas yang terdiri dari pemahaman materi dalam pembelajaran daring, tingkat kesukaran tugas dan kesulitan mengerjakan tugas. 3) Faktor kesulitan mengakses internet yang terdiri dari jaringan internet. Dari tiga faktor yang terbentuk, faktor motivasi dan minat siswa menjadi faktor yang paling dominan dengan percentage of variance sebesar 38,781%.
