Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of organizational commitment (X1) and work discipline (X2) on employee performance (Y) mediated by job satisfaction (Z) at BPKAD Cilegon City. The type of research used is quantitative with a causality approach. The population in this study were civil servants (PNS) BPKAD Cilegon City, totaling 115 employees. With a census or saturation sampling technique, the number of samples is the same as the total population, namely 115 employees. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with an application in the form of SmartPLS 3.2.9. The results showed that: (1) organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. (2) work discipline has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance. (3) organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. (4) work discipline has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. (5) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. (6) job satisfaction positively and significantly mediates the influence of organizational commitment on employee performance. (7) job satisfaction positively and significantly mediates the effect of work discipline on employee performance. Additional Information: Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui pengaruh komitmen organisasi (X1) dan disiplin kerja (X2) terhadap kinerja pegawai (Y) dengan dimediasi oleh kepuasan kerja (Z) pada BPKAD Kota Cilegon. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kausalitas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai negeri sipil (PNS) BPKAD Kota Cilegon yang berjumlah 115 pegawai. Dengan teknik sampling sensus atau jenuh, maka jumlah sampel sama dengan jumlah populasi yaitu 115 pegawai. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan aplikasi berupa SmartPLS 3.2.9. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) komitmen organisasi berpengaruh posititf dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. (2) disiplin kerja berpengaruh posititf tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. (3) komitmen organisasi berpengaruh posititf dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. (4) disiplin kerja berpengaruh posititf dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. (5) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh posititf dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. (6) kepuasan kerja memediasi secara positif dan signifikan pengaruh komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai.
