Abstract
This study aims to 1) science magazines with the theme of environmental pollution as science teaching materials in fostering student learning motivation of VII and 2) Knowing the level of validity of environmental science development magazines as teaching materials in growing student motivation in class VII. The method used in this research is the research and development (R&D) method by Sugiono. The research was conducted in several stages, namely: 1) Problem analysis, 2) Data collection, 3) Product design, 4) Product design validation, 5) Product revision, and 6) Product final results. This science magazine was tested by expert validation by several experts from lecturers as well as experts from science subject teachers, and got a 100% validity level from expert I with the criteria of "Very feasible", expert II of 65.00% including the criteria of "Quite feasible". ", expert III was 95.00% including the "Very feasible" criteria, from expert IV 90.00% including the "Very decent" criteria, and expert V was 90.00% with the "Very feasible" criteria. Based on the validation test by the expert, the average result of the assessment was 88.00% with very feasible criteria. So that this science magazine teaching material is very suitable to be used in the learning process to support science learning on environmental pollution material for seventh grade junior high school students. Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengembangkan majalah sains tema pencemaran lingkungan sebagai bahan ajar ipa dalam menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VII dan 2) Mengetahui tingkat kevalidan pengembangan majalah sains tema pencemaran lingkungan sebagai bahan ajar ipa dalam menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VII. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) oleh Sugiono. Penelitian dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu : 1) Analisis masalah, 2) Pengumpulan data, 3) Desain produk, 4) Validasi desain produk, 5) Revisi produk, dan 6) Hasil akhir produk. Majalah sains ini dilakukan uji validasi ahli oleh beberapa ahli dari dosen dan juga ahli dari guru mata pelajaran ipa, dan mendapat tingkat kevalidan dari ahli I sebesar 100% dengan kriteria "Sangat layak", ahli II sebesar 65,00% termasuk kriteria "Cukup layak", ahli III sebesar 95.00% termasuk kriteria "Sangat layak", dari ahli IV sebesar 90,00% termasuk kriteria "Sangat layak", dan ahli ke V sebesar 90.00% dengan kriteria "Sangat layak". Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi oleh ahli menunjukkan hasil rata-rata dari penilaian sebesar 88,00% dengan kriteria sangat layak. sehingga bahan ajar majalah sains ini sangat layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk menunjang pembelajaran IPA pada materi pencemaran lingkungan siswa SMP kelas VII.
