Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the income and added value of sweet potatoes by processing them into sweet potato cheese sticks. This research was conducted from January to March 2019 and was deliberately selected at the Kelompok Wanita Tani Sinar Makmur in Cikondang Village, Pandeglang District, Pandeglang Regency. This is quantitative analysis research with descriptive method. Primary data and information in this study were obtained through direct interviews and filling out questionnaires submitted to the vice chairman of the Kelompok Wanita Tani Sinar Makmur. Secondary data is obtained through relevant literature such as books, websites, Central Statistics Agency of Pandeglang Regency and agencies related to data availability. This research uses Hayami's method as an analytical tool. The total cost of sweet potato to sweet potato cheese sticks of each kilogram is Rp 63.200,- with a fixed cost of Rp 11.800,- and variable costs of Rp 51.400,-. The advantage of each kilogram of the Kelompok Wanita Tani Sinar Makmur from processing sweet potatoes into sweet potato cheese sticks is Rp 36.800,-. The added value of the production of sweet potato cheese sticks is Rp 75.200,- per kilogram of raw material or 50,13%. The added value includes the high value added value category.
