Abstract

This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 14 Tangerang in the even semester 2021/2022 academic year which aimed to see whether flipped classroom learning is integrated with creative problem solving better than creative problem solving learning models for numeracy ability. The purpose of this study is also to see whether there are differences in numeracy abilities between students who have high, medium, and low self-regulated learning. The method used in this research is a combination research (mixed method) with incorporation of Quantitative-Qualitative and concurrent embedded design. The population of this research is all students in grade XI SMAN 14 Tangerang. The sample of this study involved two classes, namely XI MIPA 2 as the experimental class and XI MIPA 4 as the control class. The instrument used in this study of numeracy ability test instrument, non-test instrument in the form of self-regulated learning scale, observation sheets, student interview guides, and documentation as well as the researchers itself. The result of research give the conclusion that flipped classroom learning integrated creative problem solving was better than creative problem solving learning and there were differences in average numeracy skills between students who had high, medium, and low self-regulated learning. While the results of qualitative data show that the application of flipped classroom integrated with creative problem solving on the numeracy skills of students who have high self-regulated learning is better and has fulfilled all indicators of numeracy ability than the numeracy abilities of students who have medium and low self-regulated learning.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 14 Kota Tangerang tahun ajaran 2021/2022 semester genap yang bertujuan untuk melihat apakah pembelajaran flipped classroom diintegrasikan creative problem solving lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran creative problem solving terhadap kemampuan numerasi. Tujuan penelitian ini juga untuk melihat apakah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan numerasi antara siswa yang memiliki kemandirian belajar tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kombinasi dengan penggabungan kuantitatif-kualitatif secara tidak seimbang dengan desain concurrent embedded. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 14 Kota Tangerang. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dua kelas yaitu XI MIPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI MIPA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari tes kemampuan numerasi, skala kemandirian belajar, lembar observasi, dan pedoman wawancara siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran flipped classroom diintegrasikan creative problem solving lebih baik daripada pembelajaran creative problem solving dan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan numerasi antara siswa yang memiliki kemandirian belajar tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Sementara hasil pendukung data kualitatif menunjukkan penerapan flipped classroom diintegrasikan creative problem solving terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa yang memiliki kemandirian belajar tinggi lebih baik dan telah memenuhi seluruh indikator kemampuan numerasi daripada kemampuan numerasi siswa yang memiliki kemandirian belajar sedang dan rendah.
