Abstract

SUMMARY Febri Arif Wibowo. The Effect of Mimba Leaves (Azadirachta indica) Extract to Attack Intensity of Alternaria porri EII.Cif. and the Growth of Onion Plants (Allium ascalonicum L.). Under Guidance Nurmayulis and Dewi Hastuti. This research was aimed to know the effect of mimba leaves extract against benefits pesticides to controlling bercak ungu desease (Alternaria porri EII. Cif) and the growth of onion plants (Allium ascalonicum L.). This research was done at Cikande Permai village, subdistrict of Cikande, district of Serang, Banten Province and University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa laboratory of soil Faculty of Agriculture, from May to September 2013. This research used Randomized Block Design (RBD) with one factor which consisted of six treatment, they were P0 = Control (no treatment), P1 = Mimba Extract 100 g/L water, P2 = Mimba Extract 150 g/L water, P3 = Mimba Extract 200 g/L water, P4 = Mimba Extract 250 g/L water, P5 = Mimba Extract 300 g/L water. Every treatment was repeated 4 times so obtained 24 experiment. The giving of mimba leaves extract 250 g/L water (P4) showed the best results and efficient in the use of the mimba extract on intensity attack 21,75% cause Alternaria porri EII.Cif., the bulbs 9,50 and weight bulbs 72,50 g for onion plants (Allium ascalonicum L.).
