Abstract

Dwi Yuniarti, Economic Analysis of Golden Apollo Melon Farming System (Cose Study in Jombang, Cilegon City) guided by H. Suhermanand Hj. Andjar Astuti. Melon have many benefits for food consumption needs that have high economic opportunities for cultivated by farmers. This study aims to determine the cost of production, revenue and income of farmers and the R/C Ratio and also Break Even Point (BEP) of the melon farm. This research was conducted in Sub-District Jombang, Cilegon City selected (deliberately). The population in this study were all farmers who cultivate melon plants, amounting to farmers, and wholly taken as respondents. The type of data collected is primary and secondary data using interview techniques, questionnaire, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using analysis of farming and descriptive method. The results showed that the average-average total cost incurred farmers, in District Jombang, Cilegon City is Rp. 34.939.395,86. Average Receipts per hectare is Rp. 68.100.000 and average income per hectare is Rp. 33.160.604,14. With R/C Ratio has been analyzed gained 1,90 then it means that the cultivated melon farms in the Jombang District is advantageous. Keywords : Melon, Income, Farming
