Abstract
ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of multimedia interactive B_SEM Flashto the cognitive abilities and motivation of students to the concept of the system human excretion. The method used is the method of quasi- experimental. The study population is the entire nine grade students of SMAN 3 Kota Serang 2013/2014 with a sample of class IX IPA 1 as the experimental class and IX IPA 4 ascontrol class by cluster sampling technique. A cognitive ability was measured using the test objective data collection techniques used objective tests for measure cognitive abilities and a questionnaire for measure students' motivation. The results from cognitive abilities of students in the experimental class 77 (good) and the control class are 64 (enough). While the motivation of students in the experimental class 76 (good) and the control class 55 (fewer). Thus the influence of interactive multimedia flash B_SEM on students' cognitive abilities t count (2,480) > t table (1,667) and motivation of students t count (2,364) > t table (1,667) students of class XI IPA at SMAN 3 Serang. | Additional Information: | ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh multimedia interaktif B_SEM Flash terhadap kemampuan kognitif dan motivasi siswa kelas XI IPA pada konsep sistem ekskresi manusia. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Serang tahun ajaran 2013/2014, sampel penelitian kelas XI IPA 1 (kelas eksperimen) dan XI IPA 4 (kelas kontrol) yang diambil dengan teknik Cluster sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes objektif untuk mengukur kemampuan kognitif dan angket untuk mengukur motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kemampuan kognitif siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 77 (baik) dan kelas kontrol sebesar 64 (cukup). Sedangkan motivasi belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 76 (baik) dan kelas kontrol sebesar 55 (kurang). Dengan demikian adanya pengaruh multimedia interaktif B_SEM flash terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa dengan t hitung (2,480) > t tabel (1,667) dan motivasi belajar siswa t hitung (2,364) > t tabel (1,667) kelas XI IPA di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Serang.
