Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of using TPS model (Think Pair And Share) on learning outcomes of students. dimensions measured include cognitive ability, affective dimensions of ability and psychomotor ability dimensions. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with randomized control group pretest-posttest. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri I Pandeglang 11 grade 2 nd semester school year 2013/2014. The sampling technique used for this study is randome sampling. Data retrieval research by using multiple-choice objective tests, questionnaires and observation sheets affective for psicomotor. The result of test hypothesis by using t-test in the significance sequence α = 0,05 got the result of cognitive, affective and psychomotor ability significance 0,00 < 0,05 which means there was an influence of using TPS learning model toward the student’s learning result. Keywords: learning model of think pair and share, learning outcomes, and reproduction system.

Additional Information: ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran TPS (Think Pair And Share) terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Dimensi yang diukur meliputi kemampuan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Randomized control group pretest-posttest. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri I Pandeglang kelas XI semester II tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah randome sampling. Pengambilan data penelitian dengan menggunakan tes objektif pilihan ganda, angket afektif dan lembar observasi psikomotor. Hasil analisis uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 diperoleh nilai signifikansi kemampuan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor 0,00 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran TPS terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran, think pair and share, hasil belajar, sistem reproduksi.
