Abstract
The purpose of thisresearch is to provide an overviewof the planning, implementation and output of the principal's program which involves the managerial role of the principal in the school to improve the quality of teacher performance. Creating a school that has good quality is the principal's job, creating a fun learning experience is the teacher's job and getting a meaningful learning experience is the dream of students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method by looking at the actual situation as a whole. The results of this study indicate that the process of implementing the program from planning to getting the output wassuccessful by the school principal in view of the existence of schools that have increased quality, the ability of teachers to continue to increase in carrying out learning in class, the presence of students who have character. Key words: Managerial role, school program, quality of teacher performance.

| Additional Information: | Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan output dari program kepala sekolah yang meliibatkan peran manajerial kepala sekolah di sekolah tersebut untuk meningkatkan kualitas kinerja guru. Menciptakan sekolah yang memiliki kualitas yang baik merupakan tugas kepala sekolah, menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan merupakan tugas guru dan mendapatkan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna merupakan dambaan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan melihat secara keseluruhan keadaan sebenarnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pelaksanaan program dari perencanaan sampai dengan mendapatkan output itu berhasil kepala sekolah laksanakan dengan melihat adanya sekolah yang memiliki kualitas yang meningkat, adanya kemampuan guru yang terus meningkat dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran di kelas, adanya peserta didik yang memiliki karakter.
