Abstract

The implementation of a warning system in the Pakcoy hydroponic automatic control system based on IoT is a research development that can help improve the productivity of Pakcoy hydroponic plants. Located in Cilegon City, there is a farmer who manually monitors hydroponics, which requires the farmer to frequently visit the greenhouse, which is considered to be time-consuming and ineffective. Thus, a system is needed that can monitor from a distance. In this writing, an application is created using the Flutter framework to monitor the condition of Pakcoy hydroponic plants in real-time as a solution to these problems. With the use of this application, farmers can easily monitor important parameters such as air temperature, water nutrition, pH, and water level, and provide warnings if there are unwanted changes in these parameters. Not only that, the application monitors the condition of the sensor device to inform if there is an error in the device and a notification will be displayed. The application, named PamonApp, was tested and showed that the fastest start app duration reached 224 ms, GPU 21%, RAM 142 MB, and 60 fps graphics. When compared to the OmahIoT application, PamonApp is superior in start app duration and RAM usage. Based on the usability testing of the PamonApp application, it was generally well received with scores above 3 on all questions.

Additional Information: Implementasi warning system pada sistem kendali otomatis hidroponik pakcoy berbasis IoT merupakan sebuah perkembangan penelitian yang dapat membantu dalam meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman hidroponik pakcoy. Berlokasi di Kota Cilegon terdapat seorang petani yang melakukan pemantauan hidroponik secara manual, sehingga mengharuskan petani sering mendatangi greenhouse, hal itu dinilai tidak efektif, cukup menguras waktu dan tenaga, maka diperlukan sebuah sistem yang dapat melakukan upaya pemantauan secara jarak jauh. Penulisan skripsi ini dibuat sebuah aplikasi dengan menggunakan framework Flutter untuk memantau kondisi tanaman hidroponik pakcoy secara real-time menjadi solusi dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penggunaan aplikasi tersebut, petani dapat dengan mudah memantau parameter penting seperti suhu udara, nutrisi air, pH, dan ketinggian air, serta memberikan peringatan apabila terjadi perubahan yang tidak diinginkan pada parameter tersebut. Tidak hanya itu, aplikasi memantau kondisi perangkat sensor untuk memberitahukan apabila terjadi error pada perangkat tersebut maka notifikasi ditampilkan. Aplikasi bernama PamonApp diuji dan menunjukkan start app duration tercepat mencapai 224 ms, GPU 21%, RAM 142 MB, dan Grafik 60 fps. Apabila dibandingkan dengan aplikasi OmahIoT, PamonApp unggul pada start app duration dan penggunaan RAM. Berdasarkan pengujian usability aplikasi PamonApp dapat diterima secara umum dengan skor di atas 3 pada semua pertanyaan.
