Abstract

ABSTRACT Ahmad Jahuri. NIM: 7772190051. Development of Android-Based Mathematical Learning Media to Increase Independence and Learning Outcomes of Class VI Students of SDN Kedaleman IV Kota Cilegon on the Concept of Geometry Construct Space," Ahmad Jahuri, 2022.Postgraduate Education and Technology Study Masters Program at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. In order to promote student independence and learning outcomes as desired, teachers must be able to select and create learning media that can draw interest in learning. This is because interesting and meaningful learning cannot exist without learning media. The goal of this project is to develop an android-based mathematics learning tool that can improve class VI students' independence and learning results regarding the notion of geometric forms. R&D research is used, and it follows the ADDIE paradigm, which has five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. At SDN Kedaleman IV Kota Cilegon, the developed media was evaluated by 31 sixth-graders. Giving validation sheets to media experts, material experts, and teachers in order to examine the viability of the product as well as sending student response questionnaires in order to gather feedback on the generated products were used in the data gathering process. Students participated in pre- and post-testing to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes, and they completed a questionnaire to determine the improvement in student learning independence. The findings demonstrated that the assessment determined the generated learning media product's level of feasibility to be practicable. (1) Media experts who received a "Very Good" rating had an average score of 4.42 and a percentage value of 88.40%. (2) Material specialists with a 4.25 average score; the "excellent" criterion percentage is 85.00%. (3) Colleagues (teachers), with an average score of 4.60 and a "Very Good" rating (92.0% of the group). (4) Response findings show that students scored on average 4.33 out of a possible 50, or 86.60% for the "Very Good" criterion. (5) The average score for student independence is 41.32, or 86.09%, when the category is "Very Good." (6) Average student learning outcomes are 84.19; the percentage value meets the "Very Good" standard of 84.19%. The evaluation's findings demonstrate that creating mathematics learning resources for Android devices is judged appropriate for usage as a teaching tool to improve student autonomy and learning outcomes.
