Abstract
The efficiency of solar panels is highly dependent on the parameters of surface temperature, radiation intensity, and climatic conditions. One of the main obstacles facing the operation of solar panels is overheating due to excessive solar radiation and high ambient temperatures. The main objective of this study is to determine the effect of a cooling system with water media with water spray on the output power of solar panels and to determine the amount of current and voltage generated by solar panels at each temperature change produced. So we need a method to reduce the temperature of solar panels so that the effect of temperature changes on solar panels can be known. The method used in this study is using a water spray cooling system using water as the medium and a Thermo Electric Cooler (TEC). The results of this study indicate that every 1℃ increase can reduce the voltage by 0,190 V and increase the current by 0,003 A.

Additional Information: | Efisiensi panel surya sangat tergantung pada parameter suhu permukaan, intensitas radiasi, dan kondisi iklim. Salah satu kendala utama yang dihadapi pengoperasian panel surya adalah panas berlebih akibat radiasi matahari yang berlebihan dan suhu lingkungan yang tinggi. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh sistem pendingin media air dengan water spray terhadap daya keluaran panel surya serta untuk mengetahui besar arus dan tegangan yang dihasilkan oleh panel surya di setiap perubahan suhu yang dihasilkan. Maka dibutuhkan suatu metode untuk menurunkan suhu panel surya agar dapat diketahui pengaruh perubahan suhu pada panel surya. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan sistem pendingin water spray menggunakan media air dan Thermo Electric Cooler (TEC). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap kenaikkan 1℃ mampu menurunkan tegangan sebesar 0,190 V dan menaikkan arus sebesar 0,003 A. | ||||||
