Abstract

ABSTRACT Septina Shinta Monica (2022). Developing Mathematics Literation Instrument based on PISA Model with Baduy Culture Context at Junior High School Level. Undergraduate Thesis. Mathematic Education Department. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. 2022 The research background is inspired by the low of mathematics literacy skill of students in Indonesia. The students are not usually doing mathematics literacy problems, so that the students need to do a lot of mathematics literacy problems practice to improve their skill. The research has a purpose to develop PISA models mathematics literacy instrument with the context of baduy that valid and reliable. The research is type of Research and Development (R&D) with Tessmer development models. The research and development steps consist of self-evaluation, prototyping which includes the expert review, one-to-one, small group, and the last steps is field test. The final result of developing this instrument is PISA models mathematics literacy instrument with the context of baduy. The result shows that the expert validation result obtained a construction score of 95.23%, content 93.33%, and language 94.33% which were in the "strongly valid" category. The result obtained are 15 items with "valid" criteria and have a "strongly reliable" interpretation of reliabilility. The result of the research can be concluded that PISA models mathematics literacy instrument with the context of baduy is valid and reliable. Keywords: mathematics literacy, PISA, Baduy

Siswa belum terbiasa untuk mengerjakan soal literasi matematika, sehingga siswa perlu banyak berlatih dalam mengerjakan soal literasi matematika untuk meningkatkan kemampuannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan instrumen literasi matematika model PISA dengan konteks budaya Baduy yang valid dan reliabel. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan Tessmer. Tahapan penelitian dan pengembangannya terdiri dari Preliminary, Self Evaluation, Prototyping yang meliputi tahap expert review, one-to-one, dan small group dan tahap yang paling terakhir adalah field test. Hasil akhir dari pengembangan instrumen ini adalah instrumen literasi matematika model PISA dengan konteks budaya Baduy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi ahli memperoleh skor konstruksi 95,23%, isi 93,33%, dan Bahasa 94,33% yang berada pada kategori “sangat valid”. Diperoleh hasil 15 butir soal dengan kriteria “valid” dan memiliki interpretasi reliabilitas “sangat reliabel”. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan instrumen literasi matematika model PISA dengan konteks budaya Baduy pada tingkat SMP dinyatakan valid dan reliabel.
