Abstract

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini didasari oleh urgensi penanaman pendidikan karakter pada peserta didik sesuai dengan aturan yang telah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penguatan pendidikan karakter religius pada peserta didik di sekolah dasar dengan menyusun program-program rutin pembiasaan keagamaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dimana data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini didapat peneliti dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data seperti wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penguatan karakter religius pada peserta didik dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan pembiasaan-pembiasaan religius pada peserta didik, kegiatan pembiasaan dapat menempatkan peserta didik sebagai sesuatu yang istimewa dengan melatih mereka memiliki kebiasaan baik yang melekat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tantangan pelaksanaan penguatan pendidikan karakter religius peserta didik dapat dilihat dari berbagai aspek yaitu (1) pengetahuan guru tentang konsep pendidikan karakter itu sendiri; (2) tantangan terberat ada dalam diri peserta didik, belum lagi pengawasan dari guru yang terbatas serta kurangnya pengawasan peserta didik dari orang tuanya juga menjadi tantangan; (3) kebijakan kepala sekolah serta sarana dan prasarana yang belum cukup memadai menjadi kendala sekolah dalam memaksimalkan pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter religius pada peserta didik. Karakter religius peserta didik dapat dilihat dari hubungannya dengan Tuhan-Nya (hablum minallah), di mana hal tersebut dapat di lihat dari bagaimana ketaatan, keimanan, dan ketaqwaan peserta didik. Sementara itu dalam hubungannya dengan individu lain serta lingkungan (hablum minannas) dapat dilihat dari sub nilai religius yang dikembangkan oleh Tim Penyusun PKK Kemendikbud RI tahun 2017. | |||||||||
