Abstract

Ayu Annisa Novianti, 2023. The Effect of Cognitive Restructuring Techniques to Reduce Student Bullying Behavior. Thesis. Supervised by: Bangun Yoga Wibowo (Advisor 1) and Arga Satrio Prabowo (Advisor 2). Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of cognitive restructuring techniques implemented through individual counseling services to reduce bullying behavior in class VIII E students of SMP Negeri 1 Kragilan. This study uses experimental research methods. The experimental design used was Single Subject Research (SSR) with an A-B-A design. The research subject was one student who had bullying behavior and was included in the high bullying category. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics, then displayed in the form of tables and graphs. The results showed that the average percentage at baseline 1 was 93% with 100% stability, in the intervention conditions it obtained an average percentage of 55% with 50% stability and in baseline 2 conditions it obtained an average of 42% with 100% stability . The data shows a decrease of 51% from baseline 1 to baseline 2 with 0% data overlap which indicates that providing interventions with cognitive restructuring techniques can have a good effect on reducing bullying behavior. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan teknik cognitive restructuring yang dilaksanakan melalui layanan konseling individu untuk mengurangi perilaku bullying pada siswa kelas VIII E SMP Negeri 1 Kragilan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Subjek penelitian merupakan satu orang siswa yang memiliki perilaku bullying dan termasuk kedalam kategori bullying tinggi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, kemudian ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase rata-rata pada baseline 1 sebesar 93% dengan stabilitas 100%, pada kondisi intervensi memperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 55% dengan stabilitas 50% dan pada kondisi baseline 2 memperoleh rata�rata sebesar 42% dengan stabiitas 100%. Data tersebut menunjukkan adanya penurunan sebanyak 51% dari kondisi baseline 1 sampai dengan baseline 2 dengan overlap data 0% yang menunjukkan bahwa pemberian intervensi dengan teknik cognitive restructuring dapat berpengaruh baik terhadap penurunan perilaku bullying. Kata kunci: Bullying; Teknik Cognitive Restructuring.
