Abstract

The rapid development of automation technology is expected to make industrial processes more efficient and effective. However, there are still several processes in the industry that often escape attention, one of which is monitoring the clean water distribution process. This research has designed a monitoring system for clean water distribution using the Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system at Campus E Untirta Sindangsari. This system is controlled by PLC zelio and communicated with the Human Machine Interface (HMI) using wonderware intouch via modbus. Communication between zelio smart relay and wonderware intouch uses Kepserverex. Then the parameter data is stored in real-time in the Microsoft Access database. The results of testing this research are that the level transmitter can read the water level with an error of 0.4%, while the pressure transmitter can read the water pressure with an error of 0.2%. HMI communication with PLC zelio can work well, and HMI can control and center parameters well.

Additional Information: Perkembangan teknologi otomasi yang begitu pesat diharapakan proses industri semakin efisien dan efektif. Namun masih ada beberapa proses di industri yang sering luput dari perhatian, salah satunya adalah monitoring pada proses pendistribusian air bersih. Penelitian ini telah merancang sistem monitoring pada distribusi air bersih dengan menggunakan Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) di kampus E Untirta Sindangsari. Sistem ini dikendalikan oleh PLC zelio dan dikomunikasikan dengan Human Machine Interface (HMI) menggunakan wonderware intouch melalui modbus. Komunikasi antara zelio smart relay dengan wonderware intouch menggunakan Kepserverex. Kemudian data parameter disimpan secara real time ke dalam database Microsoft Access. Hasil dari pengujian penelitian ini level transmitter dapat membaca ketinggian air dengan kesalahan error 0,4%, sedangkan pressure transsmiitter dapat membaca tekanan air dengan kesalahan error 0,2%. Komunikasi HMI dengan PLC zelio dapat berjalan dengan baik, dan HMI dapat mengendalikan dan memantau parameter dengan baik.
