Abstract

ABSTRACT Improving Student’s Learning Outcomes of Thrith Grade on Social Science About Money History, by Using Model of Cooperative Type Two Stay Two Stray (Classroom Action Research Toward Thrith Grade Students at Elementary School Serang 8, Serang City, Banten Province) Epri Ayu Pertiwi (2227111245) The research distributed by the low level of student learning outcomes in social science at Elementary school Serang 8, because of many student’s was speaking while the teacher was teaching and there’s no intercommunication between teacher and student’s in process of learning. The purpose of this research is to improve student’s learning activities and learning outcomes using learning model of cooperative learning, type of two stay two stray until it reaches at last 80% for activities and 90% for learning outcomes. This research is Class Action Research (CAR), when in every cycle consisted of two meetings, each cycle was done with four phase. Namely planning phase, implementation phase, observation phase and reflection phase. The data colection techniques in this study where by using test instrument, observations of teachers and student’s learning activities, as well as the interview. In the first cycle and second cycle the number of students who attended the class was 32 students. By the implementation of cooperative learning model type two stay two stray, student’s learning activities and learning outcomes increased. In the first cycle the presentage of student’s learning activitie was 72,5% and in the second cycle increased to be 97,5%. Likewise, the average students learning outcomes, for 84,37% in the first cycle increased to be 96,87% in the second cycle. So that conclusions can be drawn from this study that the implementation of cooperative learning model type two stay two stray can be increased student’s learning activities and learning outcomes on Social Science in thrith Elementary School Serang 8. ABSTRAK Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas III Pada Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Tentang Sejarah Uang dengan Menggunakan Model Kooperatif Tipe Two Stay Two Stray (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Terhadap Siswa Kelas III SDN Serang 8 Kota Serang Provinsi Banten) Epri Ayu Pertiwi (2227111245) Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di SD Negeri Serang 8, dikarenakan banyak siswa yang mengobrol ketika guru menjelaskan materi dan tidak adanya komunikasi dua arah antara guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray hingga mencapai 80% untuk aktivitas dan 90% untuk hasil belajar siswa. Jenis pada penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang dilakukan dengan 2 tahap siklus penelitian, dimana pada setiap siklusnya dilakukan dengan dua pertemuan. Tiap siklus dilakukan dengan empat tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap observasi, dan tahap refleksi. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan instrumen tes, instrumen observasi aktivitas belajar guru dan aktivitas belajar siswa, serta wawancara. Pada siklus pertama dan siklus kedua jumlah siswa yang hadir 32 siswa. Dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray, aktivitas belajar siswa dan hasil belajar siswa meningkat. Pada siklus I presentase aktivitas belajar siswa 72,5% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 97,5%. Begitupun dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa, dari 84,37% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 96,87% pada siklus II. Sehingga simpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini bahwa dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri Serang 8. Kata Kunci : hasil belajar, pembelajaran IPS, pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray.
