Abstract
Intan Khoeroni Maelawati (2221180060), 2022. “The Application of the Habituation Method in Forming Children's Independent Character at the Bani Isya PAUD, Cilegon City” Departemnt of Non-Formal Education. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Advisor I Prof. Dr. H. Syadeli, M.Pd, Advisor II Dadan Darmawan, M.Pd Learning for children is carried out in various ways, one of which is by habituation, the habituation method means a way to carry out an action regularly and has thought carefully which is done repeatedly so that it becomes a habit that is difficult to leave. Independence for children is the ability that is adapted to their developmental tasks. This study aims to determine (1) the planning of the application of the habituation method (2) the implementation of the application of the habituation method (3) the results of the application of the habituation method in forming the child's independent character. In this study, researchers used descriptive methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data source for this research consisted of 5 teachers and 15 students as research subjects with the object of child independence. The results showed that (1) Planning for the application of the habituation method was carried out in 4 stages, namely: Making lesson plans, Planning supporting learning facilities, Developing effective learning, Appreciating children. (2) The implementation of the habituation method is carried out in 4 ways, namely: routine activities, spontaneous activities, exemplary activities, implementation using lesson plans. (3) The results of the implementation of the habituation method are carried out by observing through the MB, BSH, & BSB tables with the child's independence object. From the observation table it can be concluded that by applying the habituationmethod it can form children's independence in PAUD Bani Isya, Cilegon City. Syadeli, M.Pd,, Pembimbing II Dadan Darmawan, M.Pd Pembelajaraan untuk anak dilakukan dengan berbagai macam cara, salah satunya yaitu dengan cara pembiasaan, metode pembiasaan berarti cara untuk melakukan suatu tindakan dengan teratur yang dilakukan secara berulang-ulang sehingga menjadi suatu kebiasaan yang sulit untuk ditinggalkan. Kemandirian bagi anak adalah kemampuan yang disesuaikan dengan tugas perkembangannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Perencanaan penerapan metode pembiasaan (2) Pelaksanaan penerapan metode pembiasaan (3) Hasil penerapan metode pembiasaan dalam membentuk karakter mandiri anak. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data penelitian ini terdiri dari 5 orang guru dan 15 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian dengan objek kemandirian anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) Perencanaan penerapan metode pembiasaan dilakukan dengan 4 tahap, yaitu: Pembuatan RPP, Merencanakan fasilitas pembelajaran pendukung, Penyusunan pembelajaran efektif, Apresiasi pada anak. (2) Pelaksanaan penerapan metode pembiasaan dilakukan dengan 4 cara, yaitu: Kegiatan rutin, Kegiatan Spontan, Kegiatan pemberian keteladanan, Pelaksanaan menggunakan RPP. (3) Hasil pelaksanaan penerapan metode pembiasaan dilakuan dengan cara pengamatan terhadap anak melaui tabel MB, BSH, & BSB dengan objek kemandirian. Dari tabel pengamatan tersebut dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa dengan menerapkan metode pembiasaan dapat membentuk kemandirian anak di PAUD Bani Isya Kota Cilegon.
