Abstract

E-Learning is an online learning substitute for face-to-face learning (conventional) in the era during COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia and even the whole world. In the application of E-Learning requires the ability of teachers so that online teaching and learning activities become more effective and efficient also make students more active and motivated to learn. Student learning motivation during online learning is very important because the high student learning motivation is a representative of teacher success in teaching and achieving learning objectives indicators. The type of research is quantitative research. This research aims to know how much the effect of Electronic Learning on student motivation in the social science student at MAN 2 Serang City during Covid-19 pandemic. The respondent in this research were social science student at MAN 2 Serang City in the 2020/2021 school year with a total 57 students selected by using the Random Sampling technique. The test instruments in this research are Validity Test, Reliability Test and Expert Judgment. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, documentation and observation for completing the research data. Analysis techniques used descriptive analysis and inferencial analysis. The data analysis technique used is descriptive static analysis and inferential analysis. Hypothesis testing uses the SPSS 23.0 application, namely the coefficient of determination test The result showed that 1) The implementation of Electonic Learning at MAN 2 Serang City is classified as moderate that is 51,73%; 2) The student’s learning motivation is classified as moderate that is 61,90%. The results of this research hypothesis are accepted because there is an effect of variable X on variable Y of 9.9% which is classified into the weak category of influence. Additional Information: Pembelajaran berbasis E-Learning merupakan program pembelajaran jarak jauh secara online pengganti pembelajaran tatap muka (konvensional) secara era pandemi covid-19 di Indonesia bahkan seluruh dunia. Dalam penerapan pembelajaran berbasis E-Learning membutuhkan kemampuan guru agar kegiatan belajar-mengajar secara online menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien serta membuat siswa lebih aktif dan termotivasi belajar. Motivasi belajar siswa selama pembelajaran secara online sangat penting karena motivasi belajar siswa yang tinggi merupakan representatif keberhasilan guru dalam mengajar dan tercapainya indikator tujuan belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pembelajaran E-Learning terhadap motivasi belajar siswa IPS MAN 2 Kota Serang selama masa pandemi Covid-19 ini. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa IPS MAN 2 Kota Serang tahun ajaran 2020/2021 yang berjumlah 57 orang siswa dipilih dengan teknik Sampel Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup, dokumentasi dan observasi dalam melengkapi data penelitian. Uji instrumen pada penelitian ini yaitu Uji Validitas, Uji Reliabilitas dan Expert Judgement. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 23.0 yaitu uji koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran E-Learning tergolong sedang yaitu 51,73%; 2) motivasi belajar siswa tergolong sedang yaitu 61,90%. Hasil hipotesis penelitian ini diterima karena terdapat pengaruh variabel X terhadap variabel Y sebesar 9,9% digolongkan kedalam kategori pengaruh lemah.
