Abstract

ABSTRACT The problem in this study is the widespread spread of the COVID-19 virus that occurs in Indonesia. This has an impact on the learning process activities that turn into a shift learning system. The purpose of this study is to find out how the use of the shift system in the effectiveness of sociology learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMAN 1 Kragilan. In researching existing problems, researchers use qualitative research, descriptive methods. Aims to describe the phenomenon that occurs. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of field observations, in-depth interviews with informants, and documentation. From the research that has been carried out, the results of the study show that the use of the shift system in the effectiveness of sociology learning can be said to be effectively used when there is a Covid-19 pandemic, this is done to minimize the spread of the virus and learning objectives can be achieved. The disadvantages of shift system learning are that teachers deliver material repeatedly with different study groups, a fairly short time, and educators are required to teach extra offline and online. Additional Information:	ABSTRAK Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah meluasnya penyebaran virus covid-19 yang terjadi di Indonesia. Hal ini berdampak pada kegiatan proses pembelajaran yang berubah menjadi sistem pembelajaran shift. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan sistem shift dalam efektivitas pembelajaran sosiologi pada masa pandemi covid-19 di SMAN 1 Kragilan. Dalam meneliti permasalahan yang ada, peneliti menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, metode deskriptif. Bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena yang terjadi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi lapangan, wawancara yang mendalam dengan informan, dan dokumentasi. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan sistem shift dalam efektivitas pembelajaran sosiologi dapat dikatakan efektif digunakan ketika adanya pandemi covid-19 hal ini dilakukan untuk memperkecil penyebaran virus dan tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Kekurangan dari pembelajaran sistem shift yaitu guru menyampaikan materi secara berulang dengan kelompok belajar yang berbeda, waktu yang cukup singkat, dan pendidik dituntut untuk ekstra mengajar offline maupun online.
