Abstract
This research is motivated by the lack of existing laboratory facilities and infrastructure, so that students have difficulty carrying out learning activities in the laboratory. In the laboratory there are many tools and materials that can injure students who do not understand how to use tools and materials properly and correctly. So it is necessary to have learning media that can introduce students to using the tools and materials in the laboratory properly and correctly, learning media that are packaged in attractive forms so that they get the attention of students to be more active in learning activities. This study aims to produce chemistry learning media that is feasible and easy to use. This study uses the ADDIE R&D (Research and Development) learning model. The stages of the research were carried out in five stages, namely Analyze to analyze product needs, Design to design products, Development to develop products, Implementation to test product trials and Evaluation which is an evaluation stage at each stage. The end result of the development of this learning media is a practicum KIT and manual which can be accessed with a smartphone. Based on the results of the media validation, it obtained a value of 0.96 in the aspect of KIT usability, 0.88 in KIT design, 0.96 in KIT practicality, 0.92 in KIT language which is in the "Valid" category. The results of student responses regarding learning media scored 88% in the "Very Good" category. So it was concluded that the development of the Integrated Instrument Component (KIT) on the topic of introducing chemical laboratory tools and materials is feasible and practical. Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya fasilitas sarana dan prasana laboratorium yang ada, sehingga peserta didik kesulitan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran di laboratorium. Di laboratorium terdapat banyak alat dan bahan yang dapat melukai peserta didik yang kurang memahami bagaimana menggunakan alat dan bahan dengan baik dan tepat. Sehingga perlu adanya media pembelajaran yang dapat memperkenalkan kepada peserta didik mengenai menggunakan alat dan bahan yang ada di laboratorium dengan baik dan benar, media pembelajaran yang dikemas dengan bentuk menarik sehingga mendapatkan perhatian peserta didik untuk lebih aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran kimia yang layak dan mudah digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pembelajaran R&D (Research and Developmet) ADDIE. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan dengan lima tahapan yaitu Analyze untuk menganalisis kebutuhan produk, Design untuk merancang produk, Development untuk mengembangkan produk, Implementation menguji cobakan produk dan Evaluation yang merupakan tahap evaluasi pada setiap tahapannya. Hasil akhir dari pengembangan media pembelajaran ini adalah KIT praktikum dan buku petunjuknya yang dapat diakses dengan smartphone. Berdasarkan hasil validasi media yang diperoleh nilai 0,96 di aspek kegunaan KIT, 0,88 di desain KIT, 0,96 di kepraktisan KIT, 0,92 di kebahasaan KIT yang berada pada kategori “Valid”. Hasil respon peserta didik mengenai media pembelajaran medapatkan nilai 88% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan Komponen Instrumen Terpadu (KIT) pada topik pengenalan alat dan bahan laboratorium kimia layak dan praktis.
