Abstract

ABSTRACT This research’s goal is to discover the process skill of the students on the glucose practicum test in subconcepts human excretory system disturbancy urine. The method used in this research is the quantitative-descriptive method, the research subject are the students of class XI IPA 3. The research sample werw taken by purposive sampling method. The instrument used in this research are in the form of observation sheet and the process skill test. The result showed that the process skill of class XI students of SMAN 1 Pontang based on the observation sheet was categorized as good with the average score of 72,9. Based on the observation sheet, the result was categorized as very good, with the average score of 83.1. The highest score of every skill process aspect based on the observation sheet is the observing skill, which categorized as very good with average score is 82,7 and the lowest score is the communicating score categorized as good enough, with average score is 57,3. The highest score of every skill process aspect based on the skill process test is predicting skill, which categorized as very good with average score is 94,7 and the lowest score is communicating skill, categorized good enough with average score is 68,0. Key words : Process skill of student, practicum, testing glucose in urine and human excretory system.

Additional Information: ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan proses siswa pada praktikum uji glukosa dalam urine subkonsep gangguan sistem ekskresi manusia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif, subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI SMAN I Pontang. Pada penelitian ini sampel yang diambil kelas XI IPA 3 berjumlah 25 siswa yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi dan soal keterampilan proses. Hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi bahwa keterampilan proses siswa kelas XI SMAN I Pontang berdasarkan lembar observasi dikatagorikan baik dengan rata-rata nilai 72,9. Dan berdasarkan tes keterampilan proses dikatagorikan baik sekali dengan rata-rata nilai 83,1. Nilai dari setiap aspek keterampilan proses berdasarkan lembar observasi yang tertinggi yaitu keterampilan mengamati dikatagorikan baik sekali dengan rata-rata nilai 82,7 dan nilai yang terendah yaitu keterampilan mengkomunikasikan dikatagorikan cukup dengan rata-rata nilai 57,3. Nilai dari setiap aspek keterampilan proses berdasarkan tes keterampilan proses yang tertinggi yaitu keterampilan meramalkan dikatagorikan baik sekali dengan rata-rata nilai 94,7 dan nilai yang terendah yaitu keterampilan mengkomunikasikan dikatagorikan cukup dengan rata-rata nilai 68, 0. Kata kunci : Keterampilan proses siswa, praktikum, uji glukosa dalam urine, dan sistem ekskresi manusia.
