Abstract

ABSTRACT The Role of Parents in Developing Disciplined Character Children 3-6 Years Old at Perum Villa Balaraja Tangerang Regency, Banten By : Ninda Apriliana This study aims to determine the obligations of parents in guiding, directing and setting an example, by exploring how children understand and are accepted by society. The impact of applying the disciplined character of children aged 3-6 years and the inhibiting factors in developing a disciplinary character. This study uses a qualitative descriptive that is intended to describe the phenomena that occur. This research was conducted at Villa Balaraja, Tangerang Regency, Banten. Researchers involved 8 parents and 8 children aged 3-6 years, who were in the neighborhood. researchers collect data from observations, interviews and documentation. Presents in a narrative with a brief description, displays the data, the overall picture of the data draws conclusions. The results of the research on the role of parents in developing discipline are quite good, the impact for children on the application given by parents, it is distinguished at the age of 3-4 years that children understand the orders given but some have done it themselves. At the age of 5-6 years, children understand the rules that are set and can do it themselves. The obstacle in developing the disciplined character of children is the influence of the family. Based on the results of the research conclusion regarding "The Role of Parents in Developing Disciplined Characters for Children at the Age of 3-6 Years in Villa Balaraja Housing, Tangerang Regency, Banten" which has been described previously, the researchers concluded that in their development, parents have been actively developing discipline, the results for children are different. can be seen from the stages of age, this is what distinguishes the development of discipline. The treatment of grandmothers and grandfathers is an obstacle. such as pampering not on time, in the development of discipline so that in the process the rules given experience obstacles and there is no reprimand to grandmothers and grandfathers from parents not to continue pampering treatment. Additional Information: ABSTRAK Peran Orangtua dalam Mengembangkan Karakter Disiplin Anak Usia 3-6 Tahun di Perum Villa Balaraja Kab.Tangerang Banten Oleh : Ninda Apriliana Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kewajiban orangtua dalam membimbing, mengarahkan dan memberi contoh dengan mendalami bagaimana anak paham dan anak diterima kehidupan bermasyarakat. Dampak penerapan karakter disiplin anak usia usia 3-6 Tahun dan Faktor penghambat dalam mengembangkan kararkter disiplin. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif yaitu ditujukan menggambarkan fenomena-fenomena yang terjadi. penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengambil tempat di Villa Balaraja Kab.Tangerang Banten. peneliti melibatkan 8 orang tua dan 8 anak usia 3-6 tahun yang berada di lingkungan. peneliti mengumpulkan data dari observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. menyajikan secara naratif dengan uraian singkat, display data gambaran keseluruhan data mengambil kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian peran orangtua dalam mengembangkan disiplin cukup baik, dampak untuk anak pada penerapan yang diberikan orangtua dibedakan dari usia. Hambatan dalam pengembangan karakter disiplin anak ialah adanya pengaruh keluarga. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kesimpulan mengenai “Peran Orangtua dalam Mengembangkan Karakter Disiplin Anak Pada Usia 3-6 Tahun di Perumahan Villa Balaraja Kab.Tangerang Banten” yang telah dijelaskan sebelumnya, peneliti mengambil kesimpulan dalam pengembangannya orangtua sudah aktif mengemembangkan disiplin, hasil pada anak-anak berbeda dapat dilihat dari tahapan usia, hal ini yang membedakan pengembangan disiplin. Adapun perlakuan nenek dan kakek yang menjadi hambatan. seperti memanjakan bukan pada waktunya, dalam pengembangan disiplin sehingga pada proses aturan yang diberikan mengalami hambatan dan tidak adanya teguran kepada nenek dan kakek dari orangtua untuk tidak melanjutkan perlakuan yang bersifat memanjakan. Kata Kunci : Peran orangtua, pengembangan disiplin anak
