Abstract

This study aims to find out how the feasibility and response of a limited trial of the Arduino Uno dual axis Solar Tracking trainer on light sensor circuit material. The method used is research and development (R&D) with a 4D model. This dual axis Solar Tracking trainer is designed to be able to follow the direction of sunlight in which there are several supporting components so that the mechanical circuit can follow the direction of sunlight. This teaching aid is designed to facilitate several learning activities, including the application of electronic circuits in the light sensor circuit material. The results showed that the media was suitable for use, namely the dual axis Solar Tracking teaching aid with a value of 82.12% which was categorized as very feasible and the Manual Book with a value of 78.89% which was categorized as feasible. As well as the dual axis Solar Tracking visual aids and the dual axis Solar Tracking Manual Book received a response from students in the very good category of 82.33%. Based on the results obtained, the Dual Axis Solar Tracking Teaching Aid and the Dual Axis Solar Tracking Manual Book can facilitate learning in the Subject of Application of Electronic Circuits in the material of a series of light sensors and is suitable for use.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kelayakan dan respon uji coba terbatas alat peraga Solar Tracking dual axis berbasis Arduino Uno pada materi Rangkaian sensor cahaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model 4D. alat peraga Solar Tracking dual axis ini didesain agar bisa mengikuti arah cahaya matahari yang didalamnya terdapat beberapa komponen pendukung agar rangkaian mekanis tersebut bisa mengikuti arah cahaya matahari. Alat peraga ini didesain untuk memfasilitasi beberapa kegiatan pembelajaran, di antaranya yaitu Penerapan Rangkaian Elektronika pada materi Rangkaian sensor cahaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media layak digunakan, yaitu alat peraga Solar Tracking dual axis dengan nilai 82.12% yang dikategorikan menjadi sangat layak dan Manual Book dengan nilai 78.89% yang dikategorikan menjadi layak. Serta alat peraga Solar Tracking dual axis dan Manual Book Solar Tracking dual axis mendapat respon peserta didik dengan kategori sangat baik sebesar 82.33%. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapat bahwa Alat Peraga Solar Tracking dual axis dan Manual Book Solar Tracking dual axis dapat memfasilitasi pembelajaran pada Mata Pelajaran Penerapan Rangkaian Elektronika pada materi Rangkaian sensor cahaya dan layak digunakan.
