Abstract

ABSTRACT Mia Sri Wulandari (2221180082), 2022. The Effect of the Demonstration Method on Learning Outcomes of Babysitter Training Participants at LPK Citra Kenanga, South Tangerang City. Advisor I Dr. Ino S Rawita, M.Pd. Advisor II Herlina Siregar, M.Pd The demonstration method is a teaching method by re-enacting events in the sequence to carry out an activity. This study aims to determine the Effect of the Demonstration Method on Learning Outcomes of Babysitter Training Participants at LPK Citra Kenanga, South Tangerang City. This research uses an experimental method with a quantitative approach. The variables in this study are the Demonstration Method and Learning Outcomes. The population in this study were all babysitter training participants at LPK Citra Kenanga, with a total of 60 trainees. Because the population is less than 100, then all of the research samples are used. The samples taken from this study were 40 people and 20 people were used to test the validation of the test questions. Data was collected by means of test questions and documentation. Validity test using product moment correlation. Reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha formula. The results obtained the following conclusions: 1) The demonstration method has a significant influence on the learning outcomes of babysitter trainees, with r count ( 0.962) > r table (0.312) , so the value of t table ( 2.024) < t count (3,768 and 3,768), which means Ho = rejected, and Ha = accepted 2) The demonstration method has an effect on learning outcomes, with an increase of 14%. These results indicate that there is an effect of the demonstration method on the learning outcomes of the babysitter training participants. Keywords: Demonstration Method and Learning Outcomes

Pembimbing II Herlina Siregar, M.Pd Metode demonstrasi merupakan metode mengajar dengan memperagakan kembali kejadian sesuai dengan urutan untuk melakukan suatu kegiatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Metode Demonstrasi Terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Pelatihan Babysitter di LPK Citra Kenanga Kota Tangerang Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen pendekatan kuantitatif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Demonstrasi dan Hasil Belajar. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta pelatihan babysitter di LPK Citra Kenanga, dengan jumlah 60 peserta pelatihan. Karena jumlah populasi yang kurang dari 100, maka dijadikan sampel penelitian semuanya. Sampel yang diambil dari penelitian ini sebanyak 40 orang dan 20 orang dijadikan untuk menguji validasi soal tes. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan soal tes dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas menggunakan korelasi product moment. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach’s. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut : 1) Metode demonstrasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar peserta pelatihan babysitter, dengan r hitung ( 0,962) > r tabel (0,312) , sehingga nilai t tabel ( 2.024) < t hitung ( 3,768 dan 3,768 ), yang berarti Ho = ditolak, dan Ha = diterima. 2) Metode demonstrasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar, dengan nilai peningkatan sebesar 17,26%. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh metode demonstrasi terhadap hasil belajar peserta pelatihan babysitter. Kata Kunci : Metode Demonstrasi dan Hasil Belajar
