Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aimed to determine the relationship of procedural knowledge with psychomotoric abilities of students at class X1 MIPA.1 of SMAN 1 Wanasalam on learning diffusion osmosis through confrontative practicum. This study was a descriptive study with correlational analysis techniques. This study was conducted at SMAN 1 Wanasalam on September 23 iv rd , 2014. The population in this study were all of students at class X1 MIPA of SMAN 1 Wanasalam academic year 2013 / 2014 with the sample of the study was the class of X1 MIPA.1 that amounts thirty-two of people were chosen by random sampling. The data were collected by using test and observation. The relationship between procedural knowledge with psychomotoric abilities of students were analysized using product moment correlation test. The result of study showed an average of students’ procedural knowledge was 80.34, categorized as excellent. An average of psychomotoric abilities by students was 78.61, categorized as good. The result of the correlation test obtained a value of 0.778 means that the existence of a strong and positive correlation between procedural knowledge with psychomotoric abilities of students. The positive correlation means that the higher the value of students procedural knowledge the higher the value of their psychomotoric abilities, vice versa. In this study, obtained the determination coefficient amounted 60.5% means that procedural knowledge and psychomotoric abilities students alike provide a substantial contribution. There were other factors that influence the correlation between procedural knowledge with psychomotoric abilities of students but did not examine in this study. Additional Information: | ABSTRACT Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan prosedural dan kemampuan psikomotorik siswa kelas X1 MIPA.1 SMAN 1 Wanasalam pada pembelajaran difusi osmosis melalui praktikum konfrontatif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik analisis korelasional. Kegiatan penelitian ini berlangsung pada tanggal 23 September 2014 di SMAN 1 Wanasalam. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X1 MIPA SMAN 1 Wanasalam tahun ajaran 2013 / 2014 dengan sampel penelitian kelas X1MIPA.1 yang berjumlah 32 orang dipilih secara Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data mengggunakan tes dan observasi. Hubungan antara pengetahuan prosedural dengan kemampuan psikomotorik siswa dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji korelasi produk moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata pengetahuan prosedural siswa sebesar 80,34 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Nilai rata-rata kemampuan psikomotorik siswa yaitu 78,61 dengan kriteria baik. Hasil dari uji korelasi diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,778 artinya adanya korelasi yang kuat dan positif antara pengetahuan prosedural dengan kemampuan psikomotorik siswa. Korelasi positif disini artinya semakin tinggi nilai pengetahuan prosedural siswa maka nilai kemampuan psikomotoriknya juga akan semakin tinggi atau sebaliknya. Koefisien determinasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebesar 60,5% artinya pengetahuan prosedural dan kemampuan psikomotorik siswa sama-sama memberikan kontribusi yang cukup besar. Ada faktor lain yang mempengaruhi korelasi antara pengetahuan prosedural dengan kemampuan psikomotorik siswa dan tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
