Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between psychomotor ability on the creation of bacterial three dimensional medium and creative thinking among the students through project-based learning model (PjBL) in Archaebacteria and Eubacteria concept of class X in SMAN 6 Kota Serang. The research method used descriptive with technique correlation. The population in this research was ten grade students of SMAN 6 Kota Serang academic year 2014/2015. While the samples were all students of class X MIA 4 that acquired by simple random sampling. The psychomotor ability of students in creating of bacterial three dimensional medium was measured by using the observation sheet. The students' ability to think creatively measured by using tes essay and product assessment rubric to assess the three-dimensional media products. The result showed the value of students’ psychomotor skill was 69 (medium category), the value of students’ ability creative thingking was 68 (medium category) and value of students’ three-dimensional media products was 58 (medium category) . Based on the results on the study indicated that there was correlation between the psychomotor ability and the ability creative thinking students with high category (r = 0.691).
