Abstract

Readiness to work is a condition that indicates a harmony between physical, mental, and experiential maturity so that individuals have the ability to carry out certain activities in relation to work. The study's primary focus is on (1) training program implementation.(2) Results of Increasing the Work Readiness of the Training Participants; and (3) Obstacles Experienced in the Implementation of the Automotive Training Program. The method used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach, with the data obtained from interviews, observation, and documentation. The research data source consisted of 10 people, namely the head of the training and competency test implementing unit, 1 instructor, and 8 automotive training participants. The results of the research show that the implementation of automotive training begins with planning, namely by identifying training needs, training objectives, determining training instructors, determining prospective training participants, designing the training, and preparing materials. The implementation begins with OHS and productivity materials; physical and mental discipline training; and automotive training materials. It ends with an evaluation through a competency test. The results of the research are increased knowledge and understanding in the automotive field, being able to implement knowledge that is well owned, being able to think logically and objectively, increasing mental, physical, and academic discipline so that they are able to control their emotions, adapt to the work environment, work together with others, and have the will to keep moving forward. Obstacles to the implementation of the training were damaged or lost infrastructure and practice tools; classrooms that were attached to the workshops of other majors; and differences in the level of memory and understanding of the trainees. Additional Information: Kesiapan kerja adalah kondisi yang menunjukkan adanya keserasian antara kematangan fisik, mental serta pengalaman sehingga individu mempunyai kemampuan untuk melaksanakan suatu kegiatan tertentu dalam hubungannya dengan pekerjaan. Fokus penelitian yang dikaji adalah (1) Penyelenggaraan Program Pelatihan (2) Hasil Peningkatan Kesiapan Kerja Peserta Pelatihan, (3) Penghambat Yang Dialami Dalam Pelaksanaan Program Pelatihan Otomotif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah deskripsif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, data yang didapat dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data penelitian terdiri dari 10 orang, yaitu 1 kepala satuan pelaksana pelatihan dan uji kompetensi, 1 instruktur dan 8 peserta pelatihan otomotif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pada penyelenggaraan pelatihan otomotif diawali dengan perencanaan yaitu dengan identifikasi kebutuhan pelatihan, tujuan pelatihan, menentukan instruktur pelatihan, menentukan calon peserta pelatihan, desain pelatihan, dan penyusunan materi. Pelaksanaan diawali materi K3 dan Produktivitas, pelatihan Fisik Mental Disiplin dan materi pelatihan otomotif diakhiri dengan evaluasi melalui uji kompetensi. Hasil penelitian meningkatnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman dibidang otomotif, mampu mengimplementasikan pengetahuan yang dimiliki dengan baik dan mampu berpikir secara logis dan obyektif, meningkatnya mental, fisik, dan disiplin sehingga mampu mengendalikan terhadap emosinya, mampu untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan kerja dan mampu bekerja sama dengan orang lain serta memiliki kemauan untuk tetap terus maju. penghambat pelaksanaan pelatihan yaitu sarana prasaran dan alat praktek yang rusak/hilang, ruang kelas yang menyatu dengan bengkel jurusan lain, perbedaan tingkat daya ingat dan pemahaman peserta pelatihan.
