Abstract
The use and utilization of renewable energy sources in the form of solar energy into the Solar Power Generation System or commonly with PLTS. The existing 102 kWp PLTS PT Krakatau Daya Listrik is one of the PLTS that has been realized. PVSyst is a software used to simulate and create PLTS designs. Simulation is used to determine the performance of existing PLTS in the form of efficiency with a yield of 16,99% and a performance ratio with a yield of 81,3%. The design is carried out for uprating the existing PLTS to meet the needs of its own consumption with 2 conditions. Condition 1 covers about 30% consumption of own needs and condition 2 covers about 40% consumption of own needs. The result of the thest using PVSyst with an average solar irradiation value of 4,91 kWh/m^2/day in condition 1 is able to produce electrical energy of 105,331 MWh/year and in condition 2 is able to produce electrical energy of 197,854 MWh/year. Based on the economic analysis and analysis of the feasibility pf investing NPV, PI, and PP for the uprating of the existing PLTS PT Krakatau Daya Listrik is feasible to implement.
