Abstract

This research is based on the problems found in the field that the AV07 Diesel PT KDL Transformer grounding resistance value on the high voltage side is 1.88 Ω and on the low voltage side 17.58 Ω exceeds the IEEE 80:2000 standard limit with good resistance values for vital equipment is <1 Ω. This research was conducted with the aim of evaluating and designing a good transformer grounding system according to these standards. The design of the grounding system on one of the 150 kV/20 kV Power Transformers at PT KDL, namely the AV07 Diesel PT KDL Transformer with a grounding grid foundation construction and the addition of enhancement conductive cement material which has a resistivity value of 1 Ω.m. Prior to the design stage, an evaluation was carried out on the existing grounding system on the transformer that from the results obtained the AV07 Diesel PT KDL Transformer grounding system was categorized as inadequate and not good in terms of user safety. While the results of the comparison between the existing AV07 Diesel Transformer grounding system and the proposed design on the transformer grounding system, the percentage decrease in Rg value is 56.91% and the percentage decrease in changes in touch voltage safety (Etouch) is 99.70% and step voltage (Estep) of 93.60% due to the influence of the value of soil resistivity, soil depth, and rod configuration.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini berdasarkan permasalahan yang terdapat di lapangan bahwa nilai resistansi pentanahan Trafo AV07 Diesel PT KDL pada sisi tegangan tinggi yaitu 1,88 Ω dan pada sisi tegangan rendah yaitu 17,58 Ω melebihi batas standar IEEE 80:2000 dengan ketetapan nilai tahanan yang baik untuk peralatan vital yaitu <1 Ω. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengeveluasi dan mendesain sistem pentanahan trafo yang baik sesuai standar tersebut. Desain sistem pentanahan pada salah satu Trafo Daya 150 kV/20 kV di PT KDL yaitu Trafo AV07 Diesel PT KDL dengan konstruksi foundation grounding grid dan penambahan material enhancement conductive cement yang memiliki nilai resistivitas 1 Ω.m. Sebelum tahap desain, dilakukan evaluasi pada sistem pentanahan eksisting pada trafo tersebut bahwa dari hasil yang didapatkan sistem pentanahan Trafo AV07 Diesel dikategorikan kurang laik dan kurang baik dalam hal kemananan bagi user. Sedangkan hasil perbandingan antara sistem pentanahan eksisting Trafo AV07 Diesel PT KDL dengan desain usulan pada sistem pentanahan trafo tersebut didapatkan hasil presentase penurunan nilai Rg sebesar 56,91% dan presentase penurunan perubahan daam hal keamanan tegangan sentuh (Etouch) sebesar 99,70% dan tegangan langkah (Estep) sebesar 93,60% akibat pengaruh nilai resistivitas tanah, kedalaman tanah, serta konfigurasi rod.
