Abstract
The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of concentration of biological fertilizers and types of planting media on the growth of shallot seed (Allium ascalonicum L.) origin of TSS in the nursery. This research was conducted started from October until December 2021, at the land Integrated Farming System Department of Agriculture Banten Province. This research used a Split-plot Design consisting of two factors. The first factor is the concentration of biological fertilizers (k) which consists of 4 levels, namely k0 (without application of biological fertilizers (control)), k1 (concentration of biological fertilizers 1 mL/L of water), k2 (concentration of biological fertilizers 1,5 mL/L of water) and k3 (concentration of biological fertilizer 2 mL/L of water). The second factor is the type of planting medium (m) consisting of 3 levels, namely m1 (soil: sand: goat manure), m2 (soil: burnt husk: goat manure), m3 (soil: goat manure : sand: husk burn). Each treatment was repeated three times. The results showed that the application of biological fertilizers gave increased the growth of shallot seed origin of TSS than without the application of biological fertilizers. k2 (concentration of biofertilizer 1.5 mL/L of water) gave the best results on the number of leaves per seedling, wet weight, and dry weight. However, treatment with different concentrations of biological fertilizers gave no significant difference, treatment with k1 (concentrations of 1 mL/L of water) was more efficient for the growth of shallot seed origin of TSS. The type of planting media treatment did not significantly affect all parameters observed for the growth of shallot seed origin of TSS. There is an interaction between the concentration of biological fertilizers and the type of planting media on the growth of shallot seed origin of TSS, namely the number of leaves aged 5 MSS, while for other parameters there is no interaction between the concentration of biological fertilizers, and the type of planting medium on the growth of shallot seed origin of TSS.

Additional Information: | Tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.) merupakan salah satu tanaman yang paling digemari oleh masyarakat. Salah satu upaya peningkatan produksi bawang merah adalah penggunaan benih bawang merah asal TSS. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi pupuk hayati dan macam media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan bibit bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.) asal True Shallot Seed. Penelitian ini dimulai pada bulan Oktober sampai bulan Desember 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi yang terdiri dari dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi pupuk hayati (k) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu k0 (Tanpa pemberian pupuk hayati (kontrol)), k1 (1 mL/L air), k2 (1,5 mL/L air), dan k3 (2 mL/L air). Faktor kedua adalah macam media tanam (m) terdiri dari 3 taraf, yaitu m1 (tanah : pasir : pupuk kotoran ternak kambing), m2 (tanah : sekam bakar : pupuk kotoran ternak kambing), m3 (tanah: pupuk kotoran ternak kambing : pasir : sekam bakar). Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk hayati dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan bibit bawang merah asal TSS dibandingkan tanpa pemberian pupuk hayati. Konsentrasi pupuk hayati 1,5 mL/L air (k2) memberikan hasil terbaik pada jumlah daun per bibit, bobot basah dan bobot kering. Perlakuan konsentrasi pupuk hayati 1 mL/L air (k1) lebih efisien digunakan untuk pertumbuhan bibit bawang merah TSS. Perlakuan macam media tanam tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan pertumbuhan bibit bawang merah asal TSS. Terdapat interaksi antara konsentrasi pupuk hayati dan macam media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan bibit yaitu pada jumlah daun umur 5 MSS, sedangkan pada parameter lainnya tidak terdapat interaksi antara konsentrasi pupuk hayati dan macam media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan bibit bawang merah TSS. | |||||||||
