Abstract
This research aimed to develop and to determine the feasibility of fotonovela based on local potentials of Banten of fruit diversity (local and exotic) in Banten to increase students' conservation literacy as a learning medium on the sub-concept of threats and efforts to conserve biodiversity. Fotonovela is a media of illustrated stories that are arranged in a series of photographs and combined with a novel or story format. The method used in this research was Research and Development (R&D) with three stages, namely define, design, and develop (3D). Fotonovela developed through the validation stages of media experts, material experts, and individual trials on teachers and students. The results showed that the feasibility of fotonovela validation results of media experts was 94.15%, material validation results were 95.47%, teacher response results were 100%, and student response results were 98.53%. The results showed the fotonovela based on the local potential of fruit diversity in Banten to increase conservation literacy was very suitable to be used as a learning medium, especially on threats and efforts to converse biodiversity. Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan fotonovela berbasis potensi lokal keanekaragaman buah (lokal dan eksotik) di Banten untuk menumbuhkan literasi konservasi siswa sebagai media pembelajaran pada subkonsep ancaman dan upaya pelestarian keanekaragaman hayati. Fotonovela merupakan media cerita bergambar yang penyusunannya mengemas sekumpulan foto dan digabungkan dengan format novel atau cerita. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan tiga tahapan yaitu define, design, dan develop (3D). Fotonovela yang dikembangkan melalui tahap validasi ahli media, ahli materi, dan uji coba perseorangan kepada guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kelayakan fotonovela hasil validasi ahli media sebesar 94,15% hasil validasi materi sebesar 95,47%, hasil respon guru sebesar 100%, dan hasil respon siswa sebesar 98.53%. Semuanya termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli serta respon guru dan siswa tersebut maka fotonovela berbasis potensi lokal keanekaragaman buah di Banten untuk menumbuhkan literasi konservasi sangat layak untuk dijadikan media pembelajaran khususnya pada materi ancaman dan upaya pelestarian keanekaragaman hayati.
