Abstract
This study aims to develop and to determine the feasibility of teaching materials in the form of a digital book RUMINJO based on local potential to support biodiversity literacy on biodiversity concept based on expert validation and user response testing. Digital Books were books that are published digitally. While RUMINJO itself stands for “Ruang Melinjo” which means that this digital book contains content about the potential of local melinjo in Banten. This research was conducted from January to December 2022. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with a 3-D model (define, design, and development). The results showed the feasibility of the digital book RUMINJO based on material aspect 95.8% (very decent category), media aspect 90.6% (very good category feasible category), and user response test (teachers and students) is 96.5% (in very decent category). The result indicated that the digital book RUMINJO was very feasible as a biodiversity concept teaching material to support literacy biodiversity. Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan bahan bajar digital berupa Digital Book RUMINJO berbasis potensi lokal untuk menunjang literasi biodiversitas pada materi keanekaragaman hayati berdasarkan validasi ahli dan uji pengembangan perseorangan. Digital Book merupakan buku yang dipublikasi secara digital. Sedangkan RUMINJO sendiri merupakan singkatan dari Ruang Melinjo yang berarti dalam Digital Book ini berisi konten potensi lokal melinjo di Banten. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai bulan Desember tahun 2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 3-D (define, design, dan development). Hasil penilaian kelayakan Digital Book RUMINJO pada aspek materi yaitu 95,8% yang termasuk kategori sangat layak, aspek media sebesar 90,6% yang termasuk kategori sangat layak; dan hasil uji pengembangan perseorangan sebesar 96,5% yang termasuk kategori sangat layak. Dari ketiga hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Digital Book RUMINJO berbasis potensi lokal untuk menunjang literasi biodiversitas pada materi keanekaragaman hayati mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 93,5% yang berada pada kategori sangat layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar siswa pada materi keanekaragaman hayati untuk menunjang literasi biodiversitas.
