Abstract

Five criteria of Wonderful Indonesia lie in its natural beauty, culture, culinary, community friendliness, and value of money. Hence this paper will examine the situation and condition of tourism in Banten Province as of today. Banten became a province in 2000 which is one of the areas with the grace of abundant tourist destinations, both natural and artificial. Among are marine tourism, ecotourism, special interest tours, ecotourism, industry and others. Despite being blessed with extraordinary beauty and uniqueness, Banten Tourism world is still far behind compared to other regions. Whereas the tourism potential of Banten is very large, has 1,166 tourist attraction (Daya Tarik Wisata - DTW) consists of 344 of nature, 591 of history and culture attraction, and 231 special interest or artificial attraction. Growth rate of tourism of Banten during the period 2011-2015 grew 7.35 percent.
