Abstract

Squid is one of the fisheries catches that are popular with the community and one of the fisheries commodities that have high economic value. The economic value of squid was also quite high at Rp. 34.000.00 / kg when compared to other dominant catches. On 2017 the area's squid production reached 328 tons or 14.3% of the total capture fisheries production which reached 2.293 tons. All the squid that enter the market are all from the catch in nature (sea), if you only rely on effort from the result of more capture, it is not impossible that one day there will be overfishing. The study was conducted in April until May 2019. Primary data collection in the form of interviews was conducted at Karangantu Archipelago Fisheries Port and for secondary data collection, in the form of squid production time series data from 2013-2017 at Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara (PPN) Karangantu. The results of the calculation of bioeconomic analysis using the Gordon-Schaefer model and estimation of sustainable potential using the Schaefer model obtained the value of catches and attempts to catch squid (Loligo sp.) at the MSY level of 304,365 kg / year and 5,036 trips / year with profits of Rp. 442.521.047. While the estimation of the MEY value is 234,423 kg / year and 2,622 trips / year with the profits of Rp. 2.901.811.197. The estimated OAE value is 303.843 kg / year and 5,245 trips / year with a profit of Rp. 0, based on the Fox model, the effort to catch squid (Loligo sp.) gives a significant influence on the catch of squid (Loligo sp.) With influence of 77%. The level of utilization squid (Loligo sp.) is 129% and is Over exploited. Keywords: Bioeconomic analysis, Fox model, Squid
