Abstract

Blended learning merupakan model pembelajaran yang mengkombinasikan pembelajaran tatap muka dengan pembelajaran berbasis web (daring). Penerapan model blended learning dilakukan untuk meminimalisir keterbatasan yang dimiliki pembelajaran tatap muka maupun pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) penerapan model blended learning bagi peserta didik paket C di SKB Kota Serang, (2) kontribusi model blended learning terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik paket C di SKB Kota Serang, (3) kelebihan dan kelemahan penerapan model blended learning pada kesetaraan paket C di SKB Kota Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sumber data yang digunakan terdiri dari 4 tutor dan 11 peserta didik paket C. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan: (1) penerapan model blended learning bagi peserta didik paket C di SKB Kota Serang dilakukan melalui pembelajaran tatap muka, pembelajaran mandiri, kolaborasi, penilaian hasil belajar, dan dukungan bahan ajar. (2) kontribusi model blended learning terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik paket C di SKB Kota Serang terlihat dari minat dan perhatian, semangat, tanggung jawab, reaksi, serta rasa senang dan puas. (3) kelebihan dan kelemahan penerapan model blended learning pada kesetaraan paket C di SKB Kota Serang diantaranya memperluas penyampaian pembelajaran, keleluasaan akses bahan ajar, diskusi online/offline, pengelolaan pembelajaran, pencapaian target materi ajar, masih kurangnya keterampilan tutor, belum meratanya sarana dan prasarana, serta kurangnya pemahaman penggunaan platform. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian ini yaitu peningkatan pemahaman peserta didik dan keterampilan tutor terkait dengan penggunaan platform pembelajaran daring yang dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan.

Additional Information: Blended Learning is a learning model that combines face-to-face learning with web-based (online) learning. The application of blended learning is carried out to minimize the limitations of face-to-face learning and online learning. This study aims to describe: (1) the application of blended learning for package C students at SKB Serang City, (2) the contribution of blended learning to increasing the learning motivation of package C students at SKB Serang City, (3) the advantages and disadvantages of applying the blended learning to package C equality in SKB Serang City. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data sources used consisted of 4 tutors and 11 students of package C. Based on the results of the study it was found: (1) the application of blended learning for package C students at SKB Serang City was carried out through live events, self-paced learning, collaboration, assessment, performance support materials. (2) the contribution of blended learning to increasing the learning motivation of package C students at SKB Serang City can be seen from the interest and attention, enthusiasm, responsibility, reactions, and a sense of pleasure and satisfaction. (3) the advantages and disadvantages of application blended learning at SKB Serang City include expanding the delivery of learning, free access to teaching materials, online/offline discussions, learning management, achievement of teaching material targets, lack of tutor skill, uneven distribution facilities and infrastructure, as well as a lack of understanding of the use of platform. The recommendation for this study is to increase student understanding and tutor skills regarding the use of online learning platform which can be done through outreach and training activities.
