Abstract

Learning activities in schools aimed at building students' problem solving abilities have not been fully implemented optimally. Students' problem solving abilities can be built by developing teaching materials in the form of e-modules based on inquiry science issues. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of e-module products based on inquiry science issues to build students' problem solving abilities on the theme of environmental pollution. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), which consists of 3 stages: define, design, and develop. The instrument used is an expert validation questionnaire sheet. The data from the validation results were analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the feasibility level of the e-module based on inquiry science issues the theme of environmental pollution according to material experts got a percentage value of 88.33% with a very feasible criteria, media experts get a percentage of 85.22% with a very feasible criteria, and expert practitioners get a percentage of 98.88% with a very feasible criteria. So that the average value of 90.81% is obtained in the very feasible criteria. This shows that the e-module based on inquiry science issues the theme of environmental pollution in building students' problem solving abilities can be continued to the trial stage so that the e-module can be used in the learning process.

Additional Information: Kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah yang ditujukan untuk membangun kemampuan problem solving siswa belum sepenuhnya terlaksana secara optimal. Kemampuan problem solving siswa dapat dibangun dengan mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa e-modul yang disusun berbasis inquiry science issues. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kelayakan produk e-modul berbasis inquiry science issues untuk membangun kemampuan problem solving siswa pada tema pencemaran lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D), yang terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu tahap define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), dan develop (pengembangan). Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar angket validasi ahli. Data hasil validasi dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kelayakan e-modul berbasis inquiry science issues tema pencemaran lingkungan menurut ahli materi mendapatkan nilai persentase sebesar 88,33% dengan kriteria sangat layak, ahli media mendapatkan persentase sebesar 85,22% dengan kriteria sangat layak, dan ahli praktisi mendapatkan persentase sebesar 98,88% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Sehingga didapat nilai rata-rata sebesar 90,81% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa e-modul berbasis inquiry science issues tema pencemaran lingkungan dalam membangun kemampuan problem solving siswa bisa dilanjutkan ke tahap uji coba sehingga e-modul dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.
