Abstract
Huril I’in Jannah, 080412, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik, Jurusan Ilmu Komunikasi, Konsentrasi Humas, Penelitian “Hubungan Kegiatan Employee Relations Dengan Motivasi Kerja Keryawan (Survey Pada Karyawan PT BRI (Persero) Kantor Cabang Serang,” Pembimbing I Naniek Afrilla F, M.Si, Pembimbing II Nurprapti W, M.Si. Kata Kunci : Hubungan Kegiatan Employee Dengan Motivasi Kerja Karyawan Fokus penelitiasn ini adalah hubungan kegiatan employee relations dengan motivasi kerja karyawan di PT BRI (Persero) Kantor Cabang Serang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kegiatan employee relations dengan motivasi kerja karyawan di PT BRI (Persero) Kantor Cabang Serang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kolerasi, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 33 karyawan tetap, dan untuk menentukan besaran jumlah sampel peneliti menggunakan teknik Sampling Jenuh, dimana Sampling Jenuh adalah teknik penentuan sampel bila semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel, yaitu 33 karyawan tetap PT BRI (Persero) Kantor Cabang Serang. Model yang digunakan dalam penelititan ini adalah Model Two Way Syimmetrical. Teori pada variabel x adalah yang dipaparkan oleh Onong Uchjana Effendi dalam bukunya Human Relations dan Public relations mengenai kegiatan employee relations, dan teori pada variabel y menggunakan teori dari Abraham Maslow, dimana dalam teori ini memiliki 5 dimensi motivasi dalam kerja yakni 5 kebutuhan, yaitu Kebutuhan Fisiologi, Kebutuhan Keamanan, Kebutuhan Sosial, Kebutuhan Prestasi, Kebutuhan Mempertinggi Kapasitas Kerja. Dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu dengan cara menyebarkan kuisioner, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kuantitatif dan grafik skala penilaian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hubungan kegiatan employee relations dengan motivasi kerja karyawan di PT BRI (Persero) Kantor Cabang Serang sebesar 0,842. Angka tersebut berdasarkan koefisien korelasi termasuk kategori hubungan yang sangat kuat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian mencapai 72,95 persen pada kegiatan employee relations dan 72,44 persen pada motivasi kerja karyawan serta grafik skala penilaian hasil penelitian menunjukan berada pada posisi penilaian baik.

Keywords: Employee Relations Activity Relationship with Employee Motivations The focus of this study was the relationship activity employee relations activity relationship with employee motivation PT BRI (Persero) Branch Officer of Serang. The purpose of this research was to determine the activities of employee relations activity relationship with employee motivation PT BRI (Persero) Branch Officer of Serang. The method used in this study is the correlation, with a quantitative approach. The populations in this research were 33 permanent employees, and to determine the amount of the researchers sampled using sampling techniques saturated, saturated sampling technique in wich the determinations is when all members of the populations sample used as the sample, namely 33 permanent employees of PT BRI (Persero) Branch Officer of Serang. The models used in this reasearch is the Model Two Way Syimmetrical. Theory in the variable x is described by Onong Uchjana Effendi in his book Human Relations and Public Relations on the Activities Of Employee Relations, and theory in the variable y using the theory of Abraham Maslow, which in theory has five dimensions of motivation in the work of the five requirements, the needs of Physiology, Security Needs, Social Needs, Performance Requirement, Enhance Capacity Needs Work. In gathering the data that is by ditribusing questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Analysis of the data used in this study is the quantitative analysis and graphic rating scale. Based on the result of research showed that the relations employee relations activities with the motivation of employees working in PT BRI (Persero) Branch Officer of Serang of 0.842. This figure is based on the correlation coefficient including a very strong category. Based on the results of the research 72,95 percent on employee relations activities and 72.44 percent on employee motivation and graphic rating scale results showed good judgment in the position. |
