Abstract
This research was conducted against the background of the problems that arise because the child is difficult to remember the vocabulary that has been given. This study aims to determine the effect on the use of YouTube media on the introduction of English vocabulary children aged 5-6 years in East Cilebut Village – Bogor Regency. The method used in this study is the ex-post facto method. The population in the study of 150 children, the sampling technique used using Purposive Sampling totaling 30 samples. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data obtained from the questionnaire were then collected and analyzed using the help of the IBM SPSS program. Hypothesis testing used a simple linear regression test because the results of the data that have been tested are normally distributed. From the results of the analysis answered the purpose of this study, namely the value of the correlaction coefficient was obtained 0,675 with a significance value of 0,000 < 0,05 which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, there is a significant influence between YouTube media on the introduction of English vocabulary children aged 5-6 years in East Cilebut Village – Bogor Regency and the coefficient of determination or R Square 0,456 means amount of contribution value of the media variable YouTube in influencing the variable recognition of English vocabulary children aged 5-6 years by 45,6%.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan latar belakang masalah yang timbul karena anak kesulitan mengingat kosakata yang sudah diajarkan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pada penggunaan media YouTube terhadap pengenalan kosakata bahasa Inggris anak usia 5-6 tahun di Kelurahan Cilebut Timur-Kabupaten Bogor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode ex-post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian sebanyak 150 anak, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan memakai Purposive Sampling yang berjumlah 30 sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner atau angket. Data yang didapatkan dari kuesioner lalu dikumpulkan dan di analisis menggunakan bantuan program IBM SPSS. Pengujian hipotesis yang dipakai memakai uji regresi linear sederhana karena hasil data yang telah diuji berdistribusi normal. Dari hasil analisis tersebut menjawab tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu didapatkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,675 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima maka terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara media YouTube terhadap pengenalan kosakata bahasa Inggris anak usia 5-6 tahun di Kelurahan Cilebut Timur-Kabupaten Bogor dan nilai koefisien determinasi atau R Square 0,456 artinya besarnya nilai kontribusi variabel media YouTube dalam mempengaruhi variabel pengenalan kosakata bahasa Inggris anak usia 5-6 tahun sebesar 45,6%. | |||||||||
