Abstract

This research was aimed to find out the effect of volume honey and concentration BAP on the growth of explants banana variety Kepok Tanjung (Musa paradisiaca L.). The research was conducted from Desember 2021 to March 2022 in Laboratory at GS Biotech, Lembang, West Java. The experiment was carried out using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) two factors with three replication. The first factor was honey with a volume of 0; 1; 2; 3 and 4 ml and the second factor was concentration BAP (6-Benzyl Amino Purine) with a level of 0; 2 and 4 ppm. Honey doesn’t affect the growth explant of Kepok Tanjung banana, because too much sugar in the media MS . BAP concentration of 4 ppm had a significant effect on the total of buds parameter at the age of 12 weeks after planting. Without giving BAP had a significant effect on the total of roots parameter at the age of 4 – 8 weeks after planting. The parameter total of leaves showed the interaction between the giving of honey and concentration BAP at the age of 8 weeks after planting with M2B1 treatment (honey 2 ml and BAP 2 ppm).

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh volume madu dan konsentrasi BAP terhadap pertumbuhan eksplan pisang varietas Kepok Tanjung (Musa paradisiaca L.). Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2021 hingga Maret 2022 di Laboratorium GS Biotech, Lembang, Jawa Barat. Percobaan dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dua faktor dengan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah madu dengan volume 0; 1; 2; 3 dan 4 ml dan faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi BAP (6-Benzyl Amino Purine) dengan taraf 0; 2 dan 4 ppm. Madu tidak mempengaruhi pertumbuhan eksplan pisang Kepok Tanjung, karena terlalu banyak gula pada media MS. Konsentrasi BAP 4 ppm berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter jumlah tunas pada umur 12 minggu setelah tanam. Tanpa pemberian BAP berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter jumlah akar pada umur 4 – 8 minggu setelah tanam. Parameter jumlah daun menunjukkan adanya interaksi antara pemberian madu dan konsentrasi BAP pada umur 8 minggu setelah tanam dengan perlakuan M2B1 (madu 2 ml dan BAP 2 ppm).
