Abstract

Literary works are a reflection of the author's thoughts, feelings, personalities and life experiences. Every literary work both short stories and novels, of course presents the character as a storyteller.as a subject that plays a role in running the story, the character is part of the intrinsic element that is always studied in various approaches or literary studies. The analysis of characters in the novel addresses the character or behavior of humans surfacely. Therefore, an approach is needed that examines more deeply about the human personality than the subconscious. This study raises the issue of psychological conflict in the main character when under pressure and anxiety about his choices and beliefs in life. This research began by looking for data on psychological conflict in the novel I Forgot That I Am a Woman by Ihsan Abdul Quddus. Then analyze according to the category of psychological conflict, namely, the category of anxiety, anger, disappointment, frustration, and analyze the factors. The research continued by analyzing sentence citations using Sigmund Freud's theories of the id, ego, and superego. This research aims to describe psychological conflict and psychological conflict factors in the novel I Forgot That I Am A Woman by Ihsan Abdul Quddus. This research is a psychological study whose discussion directs the focus of analysis on the psychological conflicts of the main figures. The data source comes from I Forgot That I Am a Woman by Ihsan Abdul Quddus. The validity of the data uses investigators' triangulation. This research uses qualitative research methods. As for collecting data in this study using literature techniques, listening techniques, and recording techniques, namely by studying books and literature that contain about psychoanalysis by Sigmund Freud. The data in this study is in the form of expression citations, and dialogue between figures that show the existence of psychological conflict and factors that cause psychological conflict in the person who is the focus of the research. As for the amount of data found in the novel I Forgot That I Am A Woman by Ihsan Abdul Quddus is a form of psychological conflict as much as 35 data with details, namely; 2 data disappointed, 13 data angry, 19 data anxious, and 1 data frustration. While for the amount of data on factors that cause psychological conflict as much as 10 data with details, namely; 7 selection data, and 3 confidence data. The results of this study show that the defense of the id carried out by the main character is more masterful. Maintaining the coolness that occurs in literary works is a representation of the human personality commonly found in everyday life. Keywords: Novel, conflict, psychology.

Additional Information:	Karya sastra merupakan cerminan pemikiran, perasaan, kepribadian dan pengalaman hidup pengarang. Setiap karya sastra baik cerpen maupun novel, tentu menghadirkan tokoh sebagai pelaku cerita sebagai subjek yang berperan menjalankan cerita, tokoh merupakan bagian unsur intrinsik yang selalu dikaji pada berbagai pendekatan atau pengkajian sastra. Analisis tokoh dalam novel membahas karakter atau perilaku manusia secara permukaan. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan suatu pendekatan yang mengkaji lebih dalam mengenai kepribadian manusia dari alam bawah sadarnya. Penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan konflik psikologi pada tokoh utama ketika berada dalam tekanan dan kecemasan terhadap pilihan dan keyakinannya pada kehidupan. Penelitian ini diawali dengan mencari data konflik psikologi dalam novel Aku Lupa Bahwa Aku Perempuan karya Ihsan Abdul Quddus. Kemudian menganalisis sesuai kategori konflik psikologi yaitu, kategori cemas, marah, kecewa, frustasi, dan menganalisis faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya konflik psikologi. Penelitian dilanjutkan dengan menganalisis kutipan kalimat dengan menggunakan teori Sigmund Freud tentang id, ego, dan superego. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konflik psikologi dan faktor-faktor konflik psikologi dalam novel Aku Lupa Bahwa Aku Perempuan karya Ihsan Abdul Quddus. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian psikologi yang pembahasannya mengarahkan fokus analisis pada konflik psikologi tokoh utama. Sumber data berasal dari Aku Lupa Bahwa Aku Perempuan karya Ihsan Abdul Quddus. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi penyidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Sedangkan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pustaka, teknik simak, dan teknik catat, yaitu dengan menelaah buku-buku dan literature yang memuat tentang psikoanalisis oleh Sigmund Freud. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kutipan ungkapan, dan dialog antar tokoh yang menunjukkan adanya konflik psikologi dan faktor penyebab terjadinya konflik psikologi pada tokoh yang menjadi fokus penelitian. Adapun jumlah data yang ditemukan dalam novel Aku Lupa Bahwa Aku Perempuan karya Ihsan Abdul Quddus yaitu wujud konflik psikologi sebanyak 35 data dengan perincian, yaitu; 2 data kecewa, 13 data marah, 19 data cemas, dan 1 data frustrasi. Sementara untuk jumlah data faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya konflik psikologi sebanyak 10 data dengan perincian, yaitu; 7 data pilihan, dan 3 data keyakinan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertahanan id yang dilakukan oleh tokoh utama lebih menguasai. Mempertahankan keinginan yang terjadi dalam karya sastra merupakan representasi dari kepribadian manusia yang biasa ditemukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata kunci: Novel,konflik, psikologi.
