Abstract
The agricultural sector has a strategic role, especially as a provider of food for the Indonesian people, contributing significantly to the supply of food, industrial raw materials, bioenergy, employment, which will have an impact on reducing poverty levels and preserving the environment. The aims of this study were to determine the effect of farmer groups' effectiveness and role on lowland rice productivity in Bendungan Village. Banjarsari District, Lebak Regency. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the effectiveness and the role of farmer groups simultaneously have a positive influence on the productivity of lowland rice which is indicated by the value of fcount > ftable (3.788 > 3.20). In addition, the effectiveness and role of the farmer group contributes to the productivity of lowland rice by 14.7%, which is indicated by the value of the coefficient of determination (R2), namely R Square of 0.147. It can be concluded that the effectiveness (X1) and the role of farmer groups (X2) simultaneously have a positive effect on the productivity of lowland rice (Y). In addition, the effectiveness and role of the farmer group contributes to the productivity of lowland rice by 14.7%, which is indicated by the value of the coefficient of determination (R2), namely R Square of 0.147.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh efektivitas dan peran kelompok tani terhadap produktivitas padi sawah di Desa Bendungan. Kecamatan Banjarsari, Kabupaten Lebak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas dan peran kelompok tani secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas padi sawah yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai fhitung > ftabel (3,788 > 3,20). Selain itu, efektivitas dan peran kelompok tani memberikan kontribusi terhadap produktivitas padi sawah sebesar 14,7% yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) yaitu R Square sebesar 0,147. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa efektivitas (X1) dan peran kelompok tani (X2) secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas padi sawah (Y).
