Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to determine the potential of marine fungi from Pulau Dua, Serang Regency, Banten as milkfish feed and the implications of the research results on biological learning resources on the concept of biotechnology. This experimental research method used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 25 feed treatments of marine fungal isolates grown in soybean cord waste media, positive control feed is a in the from of commercial while negative control of soybean cord waste media without inoculation of marine fungal isolates. Each treatment was repeated three times. Production of the feed and rearing milkfish larvae was carried out at the Biology Education Laboratory, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. Data analysis was performed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) with a 95% confidence interval. Based on these results, the three best feeds were taken to be tested at a later stage. Moisture, ash, protein, carbohydrate, fiber, fat content was observed through proximate analysis carried out at the Laboratory of Fish and Environmental Health Testing Center (BPKIL) Serang Regency, Banten. The results showed that the highest absolute length increase (L) was found in the Aspergillus sp.11 treatment (6.567 cm) and the lowest was found in the Aspergillus niger2 (6,108 cm) treatments, respectively, which was significantly different from the positive control and control. negative (6.208 cm). The highest average percentage of survival (SR) was found in the Aspergillus sp.11 treatment (75%), the lowest was found in the Aspergillus sp.2 treatment (33.33%) which was significantly different from the positive control (50.83%) and the negative control. (49.2%). The results of this study can be used as primary data for biological learning resources on the concept of biotechnology in the form of digital magazines. Additional Information: ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi marine fungi asal Pulau Dua Kabupaten Serang, Banten sebagai pakan ikan bandeng dan implikasi hasil penelitian terhadap sumber belajar biologi pada konsep bioteknologi. Penelitian metode eksperimen ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri dari 25 perlakuan pakan isolat marine fungi yang ditumbuhkan di media ampas tahu, kontrol positif berupa pakan komersil sedangkan kontrol negatif berupa media ampas tahu tanpa inokulasi isolat marine fungi. Masingmasing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Pembuatan pakan dan pemeliharaan larva ikan bandeng dilakukan di Laboratorium Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis varians (ANOVA) dengan selang kepercayaan 95%. Berdasarkan hasil inilah, diambil 3 pakan terbaik untuk diuji pada tahap selanjutnya. Analisis proksimat meliputi kadar air, abu, protein, karbohidrat, serat dan lemak dilakukan di Laboratorium Balai Pengujian Kesehatan Ikan dan Lingkungan (BPKIL) Kabupaten Serang, Banten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata pertambahan panjang mutlak (L) tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan Aspergillus sp.11 (6,567 cm) dan terendah masing-masing terdapat pada perlakuan Aspergillus niger2 (6,108 cm) berbeda nyata dengan kontrol positif dan kontrol negatif (6,208 cm). Persentase rata-rata sintasan hidup (SR) tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan Aspergillus sp.11 (75%) dan terendah terdapat pada perlakuan Aspergillus sp.2 (33,33%) berbeda nyata dengan kontrol positif (50,83%) dan kontrol negatif (49,2%). Hasil penelitian ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai data primer untuk sumber belajar biologi pada konsep bioteknologi berupa majalah digital. Kata Kunci: Ikan Bandeng, Pakan, Marine Fungi, Sumber Belajar
